The location of the property is in the Josefstadt neighbourhood (district 8) not very far from the center and well connected via bus, tram and U6 subway. The room and bathroom were clean, with simple but functional furniture. The room window overlooks a street where trams periodically pass, the window isolates enough from noise, but it depends on your tolerance level: it was fine for me. The curtains in the room were blackout, but they were unable to prevent the street light and especially the light of dawn from entering the room. Nothing serious anyway: by using a sleep mask you will be able to avoid the problem.

An adventure on the night of our arrival caused us to go to another hotel to spend the night because the code to get our room key was not updated. Self check in didn't work for this reason. The kind receptionist the next day told us that she sent the correct code to our email but we didn't get any email. We later learned that other guests had the same problem as us, three groups in total in the same week. Nevertheless, our stay was very good, clean room, quiet and with plenty of hot water.

The staff is nice and helpful, but the hotel doesn’t have an elevator, and it’s quite old. The bathroom is small and old, in other words: not very clean. The area under the bed is dirty, and there’s no air condition, only a dirty fan. The bathroom has no ventilation, and you can see some kind of pipes in the room. The hotel is giving cheap vibes. You can definitely find something better that price.

The structure is a bit dated and without air conditioning. It would have been useful to find at least 2 chairs (there was one but there were 2 of us), a fridge (the heat was terrible and we were unable to cool the drinks) and some hooks to hang the towels for the shower seemed the minimum. The cleanliness, considering the price, seemed decent to me. The tram is practically attached to the structure; good for getting around but annoying if you want to sleep with the window open.
