This hotel is staffed by a really hospitable team and definitely recommend it The welcome was warm and helpful with directions into the old town Our room was a great size and very clean AC worked well Good location if you have a car as we did because they have a secure car park Breakfast was generous although too much cake / sweet stuff for me really

I have recently stayed at the Hotel Italia for 10 nights, under rather unfortunate circumstances. My husband had a heart attack while we were on holiday in Malcesine and was transferred to Borgo Trento Hospital in Verona. My priority was to find a hotel within 10 minutes walking distance of the hospital and the Hotel Italia fitted my needs perfectly. The hotel is also situated very conveniently to the centre of Verona. The Hotel Italia was the perfect choice for me. The room was very comfortable and cleaned on a daily basis and breakfast was plentiful. However, the best thing about the hotel are the staff. When I explained my circumstances to them, they were very understanding and did everything that they could to make my stay as pleasant and stress free as possible for me. There are two members of staff that I would particularly like to mention. Thank you so much to Nicolo and Francesca. Nothing was too much trouble for them, including ordering food to be delivered to the hotel for me when I returned from the hospital of an evening. I very much hope to see you again in the future under different circumstances.

Great hotel. We stayed here for a week to explore Verona for the second time. Staff were really friendly and knowledgeable about buses and how to get around the city and beyond. Good choice at breakfast and they even realised it was my husband’s birthday and gave us complimentary glasses of Prosecco. 15 minute walk to the centre of Verona but only a couple of minutes walk from buses directly into the station to get trains and buses to towns along Lake Garda or further afield like Venice. Room was spotlessly clean and very modern. Would definitely recommend this hotel. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, thank you.

Hotel ok but breakfast is painful. Continental breakfast that you have to ask for every single item from a frosty waiter. Hard work and not worth the effort. Night waiter was good and helpful. Rooms clean and practical. Good location in relation to centre.

We had the pleasure to spend a weekend at the Hotel Italia in Verona. The hotel is within walking distance from the old town. The rooms are lovely, very clean and nicely decorated. The staff is very friendly and helpful. If you are travelling by car, you can take advantage of the private hotel garage. We highly recommend the place to everybody who is looking for a hotel with a warm atmosphere in close proximity to Verona’s historic city center.

A very pleasant hotel in a great location. Rooms are basic but clean. But please beware of breakfast - why it is not ‘self service’ is beyond me. Expect to join a queue, where one angry person adds hard bread / non fresh pastries onto your tiny plate. Whatever you do, don’t ask for more than one topping! The coffee machine is terrible

We loved Verona, and the Hotel Italia was a great place to stay. A quick walk into the centre and even shorter walk to the Funicular for a wonderful view over the city. Would recommend the hotel, friendly staff and clean and airy room. Lovely breakfast.

It wasn't the first time we went there but maybe the last, rooms not very well renovated, no courtesy set at least in shower cap, bed with spring mattress, all in all the room could have been fine. , but the breakfast to forget, brioche definitely taken out of the package, dry and inedible, terrible coffee. Lukewarm cappuccino, we really didn't like it, shame because it is very convenient for everything
