Burano
After losing her passport in Italy, she casually found a hotel near the station and looked at similar hotels. It is difficult to describe the warmth of being warmed by the gentle and considerate Ms. DOWIA when she entered. Later, when we needed to fill in the ID, because the information was incomplete, we went to the last hotel on the phone and asked the other party to send an email to the passport information, including the information we need to copy on the road, and ask where there is a supermarket. It's really good to show you the way. The location is very close to the railway station, about five minutes away. The hotel facilities are relatively old, but the sheets and towels are soft and clean, and the breakfast is not rich. It is probably a Western-style breakfast of cereals, milk and bread, simple and clean. It is said to be a family hotel, so it is very friendly.
NH Collection Murano Villa

We really enjoyed our stay at NH Collection Murano Villa. The hotel is very stylish and has nice interiors. Our room was very small, but it was not an issue for us as we were staying only for 3 nights but the bathroom was very spacious. Francesca at reception was very friendly and was happy to give us information regarding public transport around Venice. We didn’t have breakfast at the hotel, but we tried the food at the restaurant for dinner and it was delicious. However, the portions were rather small and overall it was quite expensive, but it was the tastiest food we had during our stay in Venice. We chose to stay in Murano, as we could get a better place than in Venice and we used the water bus to commute. There is a water bus stop 2 minutes from the hotel which is great for going to F.te Nove in Venice (then it is another 15 minutes’ walk to St. Mark’s Square). The water bus stops to Murano, the train station and the airport were a 5–10-minute walk away.
Hotel Conterie

The most boring hotel, written more than 3 kilometers from the train station, but to sit for more than an hour. On a small island, there is no sign, it is very difficult to find, the room is very very small, just a bed, at the end. The service staff opened a ticket of 7 euros and said it was a local tax. There is no such tax in other hotels in Europe, and it feels slaughtered.
Casa Sulla Laguna

This was our favourite place to stay when we visited Italy – it had everything. First off, the location – on Murano this was great. There’s a water bus to/from the airport, the station, to the main islands of Venice, Burano and St. Marks, so everywhere seems close. Murano itself is a lovely series of islands and most of it closes in the evening, so it’s quiet and free of tourists. The hotel has a lovely breakfast terrace on the lagoon, so you can see all the boats going by in the morning. The breakfast itself is good and great value for the price. We were able to contact the hotel through WhatsApp prior to arrival, so we knew exactly how to get there. On arrival we got a welcome drink, maps and some tips of what to do during our stay. The owner doesn’t speak much English, so most of our exchanges were short or they rely on Google Translate, which is fine. On the last day we thanked them properly through Google Translate and got big hugs. The room was great, comfy bed and windows kept out what little sound there was. A great place to end two weeks of travelling.
Hyatt Centric Murano Venice

The accommodations are beautiful. Generally speaking, the whole hotel is beautiful and the staff and the service is very forthcoming. 4 stars instead of 5 stars is because of the breakfast. The waiting time is just way too long. We were waiting for approximately an hour and haven’t even gotten something to drink, while others were waiting for an hour to get bread (we left after 50min without getting something to drink). Would recommend the hotel but not its breakfast, unless you have a lot of time to spare.
Murano Suites Boutique Apartments

Two night stay here as part of a longer Venice stay. Had the second floor suite with balcony facing the water. Well equipped kitchen and suite, lots of quirky design features, and a great view. Only small niggle was that the balcony was too small to sit on and enjoy (as often the case in Venice). Waterbus connection is very regular and throughout the night (to my surprise!). There is a supermarket directly next to the Suites to buy any supplies for breakfast etc. There are also some reasonable restaurant choices dotted around Murano, which was pretty quiet once the glass factory tours had finished. Thanks!
