Avoid this place like the plague. Absolute worst hotel experience ever. Found BED BUGS, shower was broken, room stunk of mould. Owner was arrogant, shifty and very creepy. He has zero respect and professionalism. I beg you to not book this abomination of a hotel.

Even if the owner is a very polite and great man this is a bad hotel not value of money st all The location was great the facade of the hotel was good but everything inside it was old and dilapidated. We payed 250 euros per night , there was no breakfast, there was no heating ( they did not put it on ! He offered only for half an hour even if it was really cold) old bedsheets no duvets ! Nothing The bathroom was old and we had to change rooms because in the first room there was a terrible smell through the plumbing that kept us awake. I never stayed in a such abandoned room for 250 per night!!!! For four nights And a box of biscuits from coop supermarket we got at the end as a present does not excuse this exuberant price to such a low quality and service

Good points: Friendly helpful hotelier and staff, my single room (room 8) was a great size and had an ensuite shower which was hot and powerful. It was clean, tidy and very well serviced in terms of plenty of furniture and hanging space. I stayed four nights and found the bed to be comfortable and clean. My room had a fabulous view of the church and square. The location is fantastic, only a short walk to all the major attractions plus the train and bus stations. The hotel owner was helpful and polite, and also allows people to leave their luggage after checkout so you can enjoy the day without your bags. I thought the value for money was fair. Bad points: If I stayed here again, I would certainly ask for a room at the back of the property. I don't consider myself a light sleeper, but the noise from outside was incredibly loud right up until around 3.30am. Bring earplugs if you do get a front room. It was also quite inconvenient to have to leave your room keys at the desk every time you left, especially as the desk isn't 24/7 so essentially there is a cerfew of around midnight. Be mindful of this if you intend to stay out late - think Cinderella!
