Hotel Casa Petrarca

We cannot recommend Hotel Casa Petrarca enough! From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable, but the host’s dedication truly stood out on our departure day. Valentina went above and beyond, personally walking us to the water taxi and ensuring we got on in time to catch our flight, as there had been an issue contacting our original pre booked water taxi company. This level of care and attention is something we’ve never experienced before and made our trip even more special. The hotel’s location is ideal—right in the heart of Venice, making it incredibly convenient to explore all the major sights. The room size was perfect, offering a little seating area to relax after a day exploring. The beds were very comfortable. We will definitely be returning on our next trip to Venice!

I booked this as a surprise for our 1st year wedding anniversary and I couldn’t have been happier with the communication, help and support from the 1st time we spoke to the last. Valentina and all the staff were extremely accommodating, kind & helpful. Everything about casa petrarca is ideal. Location and character is spot on with a more than pleasant breakfast and amenities ! We will certainly recommend to everyone and hopefully won’t be too long until we’re back exploring the lovely sites and surrounding areas Venice has to offer, using Casa Petrarca as our home from home ! This place is really nice! We opted for a shared bathroom which two rooms sharing but ended up just us using. Staff is really nice and helpful. Location is great so close to everything all walking distance. Room & bathrooms are very clean. Breakfast is moderate but it was more than enough for us. Only reason we give 4 star is just a small hotel and to meet expectations of others. We really enjoyed here!

The location of the hotel is fantastic. 10 minute walk to the Rialto Bridge or St Mark's Square. Although not large, the rooms were clean and well maintained and I doubt you will get big rooms in this type of location. Breakfast was nice and plentiful - eggs, meats, yogurts, croissants, etc. and fantastic coffee. We would definitely stay here again if (when!) we return to Venice and Valentina was the best host. She was really helpful and gave some very good tips of places to go.

The hotel was amazing!! So easily located and conventient to everything in Venice. The room was amazing and had plenty of space. We loved it :) Valentina was very attentive and helpful with our needs, we would stay here again!

Hotel Casa Petrarca was a quaint hotel tucked away from the busy streets, in the heart of San Marco. The location is great, but the hostess can't be beat. She took great care to accommodate us, answer our questions, and provide actually useful recommendations. She took great interest in making sure we were always taken care of. I would stay here again and highly recommend Casa Petrarca.
