Here's a breakdown of our stay: Pros: Unbeatable location: Steps away from Piazza San Marco and a convenient ferry station. Grand Canal View rooms: Worth every penny, offering stunning vistas of the canal, gondola station, and the Church of Santa Maria della Salute Attentive service: Staff were helpful and knowledgeable about local attractions. Unique Murano experience: The hotel's partnership with a Murano glass factory, including private boat transport, was a highlight. It offered an intimate look at the glass-making process, though there's a soft expectation to purchase souvenirs. Decor: The hotel's Venetian style is more modern and appealing in person than online photos suggest. Cons: Breakfast: While the view from the breakfast area is spectacular, the selection is limited, and some equipment (like toasters) weren't functioning properly. Noise: Proximity to the ferry station means some noise can be heard until around midnight. Overall, our stay at Monaco & Grand Canal Venice was thoroughly enjoyable. The hotel's prime location, stunning views, and unique experiences more than compensate for the minor drawbacks. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone seeking an authentic, luxurious Venetian experience.

Very perfect stay with everything prepared. It’s better to take water Texi to the hotel from the station. It has a private port and once you arrive in the hotel. They have immediately a gentleman to help you with the luggage. 5star service worth the price. Best location mins walking to everything.

Very nice room and service. Not comfortable by modern standards. but that is the feel you are paying for. Very convenient location . But the link with the glass factory is abit questionable..

This hotel was perfect… The hotel looks older from the outside, yet it was completely refurbished inside. Amenities are very premium, almost like in a St Regis. Founded in 1638, and 2 mins from water bus station. You won’t regret this stay. Breakfast is pretty good too for Europe.

Very pleasant stay

the hotel is in a perfect location right next to san marco sq and the drop off point of many water boats. the room was a “golden leaf superior”, big n beautiful with great shower n toilets. the breakfast (not included) was ok but the terrace on which u ate it, made up for any lack in diversity on the buffet side. the view is spectacular. room was clean, sheets were crisp, staff was nice. the Trip.com rate was what made this affordable, as this room usually goes for much more. still wasn’t cheap but considering the crazy hotel prices in Venice, it was a good deal for a 4 night stay that was packed with activities that made a central location with easy access to everything important.

Amazing location, central to all tourist sites and superb shopping all around, unbeatable in all ways. Rooms newly renovated so excellent in room facilities. Pricing was also very reasonable for location. Right beside some of the best views and regardless the room, I’m sure you’ll accept this is the best value hotel in the area. Only disappointment was the bar. Ordered a drink for my wife and I, was charged triple what other exceptional bars outside would charge, the drink looked and tasted like to was made by a child. Quite disappointed with this. Also one needs to really be patient with staff, they seem to be more caught up with talking amongst themselves and their reaction to other guests reflect poor training. Rolling of eyes and other expressions are quite unprofessional. But they don’t ruin the stay, the can’t with such a beautiful location! Bell Boys very helpful and hardworking, maybe the rest of the team should learn from their colleagues. Anyway, I would recommend this hotel anytime to anyone!

This hotel is right by the river, upscale, warm and comfortable. The restaurant has a unique view, close to the pier, and you can see many gondolas, churches, and bell towers in the distance. The breakfast is very rich and delicious, and the room is clean. There is plenty of water and bright lights. It is a very good location on the island. There are luxury shops downstairs, which is safe. It would be better if the mini bar is free! I like your smiling service and thoughtful luggage storage. Finally, when we checked out, you gave us the specific time of the ferry to the airport, which was very thoughtful. I will come again next time! I will come again next time!

I was very satisfied with the facilities. However, when I checked in my luggage I requested breakfast be served at 7:00 due to my flight, but when the woman at check-in assisted me she insisted it be 7:30. The internet connection was also poor, and she said that when she couldn't translate. In the end, it was a case of poor communication within the hotel.

Apart from other things, the service awareness of this hotel is really not good. From Rome to Florence and then to Venice, this hotel in Venice has the worst value for money. It costs more than 4,000 a night. I booked 3 nights, but there was no free bottle of mineral water in the room. I had to pay for it. This was the first time I encountered this. Then when I called the service desk for consultation, the service staff was also indifferent and hung up the phone so quickly. Before I finished speaking, he hung up and didn't say goodbye, for fear of delaying him for a second. I was also convinced. Once can be said to be a probability, and twice is a problem of staff quality. Secondly, if you eat in the hotel restaurant, the service fee is a bit high. I had a lunch of about 75 euros (ham slices + Italian chaos + two cups of Coke) for one person and was charged more than 90 euros in the end, which is equivalent to a service fee of about 20 euros. For your reference. Finally, the hotel is a distance from the train station. You need to take a boat from the train station. It takes 30 minutes to walk. I stupidly dragged my suitcase to the hotel. It took me an hour. The process was very difficult because there were many bridges and I had to drag my luggage. Can you imagine it? So everyone must take a boat or find a hotel closer to the train station. Overall, personally, I don’t recommend this hotel and I won’t stay there again.

I like the hotel facilities very much! The location is also good! You can go shopping as soon as you step out! The only drawback is that it’s a little small! If you have a lot of luggage, you need to take out the necessary things in advance, so don’t unpack it! The breakfast category is okay, including some bread, fruit, ham, and egg biscuits!

It is very convenient to check in by bus, but it is difficult to leave by bus! There is no boat to the train station at the pier at the door. If you want to take the bus, you have to go to Rialto Bridge Station, which is more than ten minutes' walk. You have to cross several bridges. Be careful when carrying suitcases. The environment ~ The outdoor view of the restaurant is not bad. The suite room is very old and the big bed is relatively small, not king size
