The location is very good, downtown. But it is really troublesome to carry luggage because there are many bridges on the island. The store will give very detailed traffic guidance, which is very useful. The facade is a little small, but comfortable.

Very charming small place, hidden away from the hustle, totally quiet, yet close to Rialto. It's one of the numerous small palazzi, still has partly the original structure with the main hall on the first floor. Reasonably priced, with a small Italian breakfast, rooms as if it was still a palazzo, even if the furniture are replica. The bathrooms are brand new though. Ideal for cultural travellers.

The location is great, the surround is full of restaurants, snack bars, gelatos, the supermarket is 200 m away. The room with the bed for 3 people is big and has kitchen amenities It is located in a silent courtyard. The room with the second bed is really small and has no air-conditioning, only a ventilator The thermostat for the bathroom is very very outdated and puts itself on hold, we needed to call the lady in the reception to start it manually (though there is a guide how to do it, in an easy way) If you are afraid of rats, you may have a problem the courtyard is a regular visiting place for the rats, but I suppose it is normal in a city of canals. The ladies in the reception are helpful but seem moody all the time and seem like they do not like to be asked questions.

Ca Amadi was a little hard to find (GPS didn’t get us there properly) but was worth it. In quiet courtyard just a few minute walk from main thoroughfare. Ten minute walk to St Marks Square. Several small restaurants within a few blocks. Nice breakfast in guest house. Comfortable room and good a/c. Very helpful staff. One staff member called and made arrangements for taxi to airport and even walked us to the taxi embarkation point half a block away.

What a lovely place in Cannaregio, just steps from the Rialto Bridge. Room 105 has a comfortable king bed, a nice bathroom, and a window that's so close to the canal that you can actually high-five a gondolier. Breakfast is served at 9am, which was too late for us (we had scheduled early tours every day), so each day Svetlana made sure to leave us a breakfast tray in our room: cereal, yogurt, fresh fruit, milk, and more. The hotel is far enough from the crowd that it's quiet, but close enough that it's easy to get to places like the Piazza, Strada Nova, and Rialto Bridge. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

I have only posted about twenty reviews over the years, all being of 4 or 5 stars. It is not in my nature to complain and damage someone's business on a whim. So this review is not about location, the firmness of the bed or the quality of the breakfast but something far more important; the safety of this accommodations guests, particularly room 106 It is clear that there has been a history of water overflow from the bathroom shower tray. Why else would there be a secondary drain on the opposite side of the bathroom from the shower? Notwithstanding this the bathroom still gets flooded. There are no warning signs in the shower. Almost two weeks ago I had the unfortunate stay in this room. There are steps down from the bathroom into the bedroom which had become soaked, causing me to fall into my bank. The resulting pain was considerable and it took a long time to get to my feet. We made it to the breakfast room and came across on of the maids. She immediately knew which room we were in and said she would clean up the mess. There was no-one else about to discuss my fall with. By the next day the pain and bruising were horrendous. There was a lady in reception when we were going out. She said she couldn't discuss the issue, that the owner would not take calls and only turned up unannounced once a month. We should send an email which would be dealt with. After a painful journey home I was eventually persuaded by my family to go to hospital two days after getting home. An x-ray showed two broken ribs. I then sent an email to Ca amadi last Friday. I have not had the courtesy of a reply. If you book this accommodation be aware of the risks. Although it's own website claims to provide all the services of a hotel, it clearly doesn't and they could not care less about your health and safety.

hotel went down since last time I stayed some 4 years ago; I would now call it a three star guesthouse at most. I booked a superior room, which was nicely furnished but the only window went onto some sort of open corridor, like a loggia; this wouldn't have been a problem if this hadn't been the smokers corner of russian sounding guests, who refused to budge even after explaining that the smoke was drifting into our room. reception was no help, because it is only occasionally staffed, and calling them is difficult. when finally reached, the grudgy person on the other said she would try to do something but didn't. breakfast is sparse and employees are a sourly lot.

Great hotel, away from all the noise and hustle & bustle but only tywo minutes walk from The Rialto Bridge. Room small but lovely, bed really comfortable and a fantastic power shower. Breakfast room was beautiful and breakfast plentiful, tea.coffee, fruit juice, cereals, bread rolls, lovely pastries and fruit. Excellent room cleaning - cannot fault this hotel. Tip:- After doing the sites (which are a must see but busy beyond belief) get off the beaten track and explore the alleys and bridges to find the real Venice.
