The dog bites people, the sewer in the bathroom smells bad, and the room has a very bad smell. The breakfast is not good, I will not patronize it again

Don’t walk, run away from this place!Creep place! The owner is extremely rude! No hospitality at all! e.g. I ask for a shuttle to get back to airport cause I got early flight and believe it or not, the gentleman said that you can get a bike or Helicopter 😂😂😂

This is a charming old house among fields with no lift, so be prepared to haul cases up to the second floor, although we did have help when we arrived. The elderly owners greeted us warmly and cooked us a pasta meal with dessert when requested, despite showing us a restaurant menu and ignoring our choices, which was odd. However the food was good and they obviously only cater to visitors these days. Breakfast was continental with cereal, fruit, yoghurt, croissants, brioche or biscuits. Our room was very spacious and clean and the bed was comfy and warm. Nature is all around you here and walking down to the pool after dinner we heard frog song and owls. Swallows have set up many busy nests under the eaves. Sadly the huge pool was not set up for us to use and interestingly, we found crayfish dead on the bottom, perhaps accounted for by recent heavy rains. The grass was not cut for the same reason apparently. We followed the path beyond and found a lovely curve in the river with their own boat dock, Venetian style. We wondered if perhaps the maintenance of such a large place was getting too much for the elderly owners, although they did seem to know what they were doing with communication and payments. Rosa spoke excellent English. The property is hidden away but is close to the end of the runway at Marco Polo airport so planes overhead are very loud, although they did stop at night. With a lift from the owners to the airport, it worked well for our overnight and flight home.

Rosa is the host and speaks perfect English. She is so willing to help with everything. We came from a cruise and wanted to spend a day in Venice but at a hotel near the airport. This was perfect. We arrived early and everyone was so nice getting rooms ready so we could leave our luggage. They served us a late breakfast, even though their restaurant was closed. Rosa arranged transportation into Venice via taxi service. Rosa also made sure we got to the airport in plenty of time. Flowers on the property were beautiful and their dog was very friendly.

We stayed here 2 nights the beds very comfortable lovely big room.When we first arrived Rosa the owner was very accommodating and showed us a toilet and changing room she also offered drinks.We were shocked to find hole in the ground.On our last day at the pool we were surprised to have found 2 dead frogs.When we first arrived we went to the shop at the side of the pool to order a sandwich as we had just got off a cruise and were hungry Rosas husband was in charge of the sandwich’s when we asked him for one he said yes I will be there soon instead of coming he proceeded to make him self a snack.One evening we were in the pool and he was trying to be very helpful he didn’t speak English so he proceeded to do some actions telling us to come out the pool because it was being cleaned.Rosa and her husband often offered lifts to the bus stop which was extremely helpful.One thing I did not love about the stay was their two dogs who would not shut up anytime someone came in or they heard a car extremely annoying.Rosas husband had a golf cart for day today work his dogs often rode with him.Overall the stay was reasonably pleasant other than the animal issues.

Great hosts we arrived late due to late and cancelled flights. There was a problem with the rooms and they couldn’t get a plumber in so Rosa arranged for us to stay somewhere else for the night. Next morning she even arranged a trip out to Venice with some other people who were staying there we had a great day out made new friends and evening dinner was superb she went out of her way to make spicy shrimps even though they were not on the menu. We were made very welcome and would definitely like to go back and stay longer.
