This room was elegant very European Royal looking. The cleaning Lady that let us in was so cute and nice. And location was not far from train station no need for water taxi.

We enjoyed our stay in this ancient building, remodelled to be comfortable while retaining its character. A special thank you to the desk hostess, Rozy. She didn't speak English and our Italian was less than minimal, but she was generous and gregarious, and we made ourselves understood to one another. It was part of the fun of the visit. Ciao, Rosy and La Palazzina Veneziana!

This is an absolutely gorgeous and charming hotel in the most perfect location in Venice. We had the second floor room with the balcony that hangs right over the canal and couldn't have been happier. Our hostess, Rosarita (perhaps I'm getting her name wrong -- just a wonderful person who made us feel at home and well taken care of). We'll be staying for two weeks next year and can't wait to return!

After running into traveling issues from USA to Venice that had us tired and cranky, we were greeted at this hotel by a kind of quirky and energetic Italian woman. She didn’t speak English and we don’t speak Italian, but she quickly had us feeling welcome and well taken care of as she explained the housekeeping of their hotel in such a way that was easy for us to understand. The location is perfect, the room was extremely clean, and the bed was comfortable. It’s unfortunate our trip was cut short by our travel delays but we found the hotel responsive to messages and easy to work with as our arrival time and date kept changing.

We had five very delightful nights enjoying this wonderful guest house, a wonderful set oh high quality classics rooms. It is close to water transportation, dining and nice shops. Cold weather and some light did not bother us much on such short distances to reach destinations.

Location is excellent it’s walkable to main attractions. The view of the bridge and the canal in our room was awesome. Restaurants and shops are all over the area. Staff (Rozalia) was the nice and warm. She did everything from being the receptionist, housekeeping and door person. She may not speak English, but she does her best to communicate. Room (Rialto) stayed for four nights at Venetian style room. Bed is comfortable, sockets near the bed, fridge, kettle and safe are important to us. Along with WI-FI. It met our needs.

Booked this restaurant because of the previous reviews. We were seated promptly and told as the kitchen was too busy we would have to wait for our food. We were not offered drinks or nibbles while we waited. One and a half hours later, we were served with mediocre, bland, luke warm food. Poor service. Poor food. Poor attitude. Instead of listening to our constructive criticism, staff argued back whilst the manager could be heard screaming at the kitchen staff. Had we not been celebrating a birthday, we would have walked out and refused to pay. Very disappointing visit, have given one star for location only.

Great location! Pretty close to most things you have to walk about 20 mins to get to a lot of museums and stuff. 10 mins from the train station. The rooms were amazing so beautiful and we had a view from a canal which was very pretty. The rooms air conditioning was not great. The people were very nice it was just one person for two hotels so it took a little while to check in but they did let us check out late with no charge which was very nice.
