As fine a hotel in which I have ever had the privilege of staying. Loved it. Felt more like a home than a hotel. Boutique like. High high high quality. Just loved it. Will be back for sure. Super friendly staff. Great food. Great bar. All quite intimate. Wonderful location. Just a special place.

This small hotel a stone's throw away from the Piazza San Marco is a little gem tucked away between the high end shops close to the Grand Canal. One feels at home as soon as one enters the lobby, which is more like a comfortable sitting room than a lobby. The personal service was outstanding, as were the facilities. The only downside is that the rooms are quite small and storage space is very limited. If you are a couple going on a cruise with two large suitcases, as we were, the space is rather tight. However, the beds are very comfortable and the bathroom has everything needed. The hotel's restaurant, accessible from outside the hotel building is fabulous, both for breakfast and for dinner. All in all, a great little hotel, especially for short stays.

The Violino and its staff are a gem. Best service I have had in a hotel in forever and I am quite strict with this. From the staff to the restaurant to the room all is perfection. Really thankful to Anabella and Mateo for the best travel experience in a long time. Will definitely come back again. Thanks for great memories and for treating our family to an incredible experience.

We spent 3 wonderful nights at Violino D'oro, an ancient Venetian Palace just renovated with all the modern comforts. The hotel is located right in the city centre, in the heart of the shopping area with beautiful boutiques, Our elegant suite had comfy bed and a huge bathroom. On arrival we were greeted by broad smiles and the hotel staff was very polite and helpful. We highly recommend this hotel and hope to be able to return soon!

We stayed for three nights, including new year. Delightful hotel with a brilliant team of staff, in a very central but quiet location. Very fresh following their recent renovation. Highly recommended as a quite base for exploring busy Venice.

Searching here and there on the internet I discovered this gem of a hotel. A stone's throw from San Marco. Overlooking the shopping street is this brand new and very beautiful hotel. At the entrance it would seem small, almost a bonbonniere, but then when they explain to you that they have connected many buildings, you realize that it is not so small. Having said that the entrance, very welcoming and elegant, the rooms are instead furnished in a luxurious modern style. Let's say that they do not have the slightly "tacky" style typical of Venice. I liked them a lot. Breakfast was also good, it's the first time that I don't miss the buffet. In fact, breakfast is à la carte. There is a bit of everything but... Certain things are paid for.... Uhm... I understand caviar or lobster but eggs Benedict... We also had the pleasure of having lunch in the hotel, the food is good I must say. The room is always the breakfast room. Very courteous and prepared staff as it should be in a hotel of this level (high). The price was more than fair. Be aware that in Venice finding a "normal" price is not easy! We were also recognized with all the Amex Platinum benefits. I think it will become my hotel in Venice for the next few years.
