Vence Hotels with Bars

Stayed two nights Tuesday and Wednesday 28th and 29th July whilst on a motorcycle tour of Europe. Very welcoming and friendly Owner on arrival and great safe and secure parking on the terrace for motorcycles. Hotel is in a great location easy to walk into the old town and see the Matisse Chappelle. Gorgeous views over the valley below and to Nice and the coast, nice pool, small and clean. My bedroom was rather small in comparison to some of the photos that I see on the website so perhaps when booking if you need more space you might wish to enquire exactly which room you will have. It was fine for what I needed with a comfy and clean bed, small but functional bathroom and shower where the fittings are certainly not new, but they all seemed to work OK. Breakfast buffet a nice selection and a wonderful location on the terrace. I'd go back, with eyes open recognising what it is, a grand old house thats been converted to a hotel and has a delightful old shabby chic boutique feel, but it you want smart and highly maintained and sparklingly new - choose elsewhere. I had a day pass ”Wellness Bubble Package” and it was absolutely perfect from start to finish. We had a warm welcome from the reception desk and the 3 course lunch was delicious, made with fresh products. Enjoyed the sun loungers and pool access. Garden and views are absolutely breathtaking (we also had access to petanque and ping-pong with the family). My 60 minute massage was the best I ever had! Special thanks to Dany-Pierre for an amazing experience. I would highly recommend her for a massage.

We stayed here for 4 nights at the beginning of September. The hotel is very close to the town centre, its an easy, 10 minute, walk. The hotel itself is clean and comfortable. The personnel were smiling, welcoming and service minded. We had a ground floor room with a little terrace facing out onto the garden. The room was a good size with a comfortable bed. We will stay here if we visit Vence again.

The DIana proved a good choice for a one-night stay in Vence. All was great and the underground parking was a genuine benefit as our arrival coincided with the local music festival which clogged the streets with unusual volumes of cars. The walk from the hotel into the centre of town was no more than 5 minutes which was perfect for this bunch of oldies. Staff were friendly and accommodating and the breakfast was just fine. Rooms are modern and clean. Unfortunately, we didnt have a chance to try out the roof terrace/spa. Next trip, maybe.

This is probably the best 3* hotel I have ever stayed in. The location is excellent and there's ample private parking. The beds are really comfortable and the rooms have aircon. The breakfast is a handsome spread of local and regional delights. The Pool is crystal clear and safeguarded in case you have young children with a surrounding netting fence. However, I left the best till last, The owners Tom & Ruth are such lovely people and they couldn't have tried any harder to help us have a lovely time. What a really lovely place; little attentions to detail everywhere and the friendly ambiance make this place a true gem in such a beautiful part of France.
