We stayed here for 4 nights at the beginning of September. The hotel is very close to the town centre, its an easy, 10 minute, walk. The hotel itself is clean and comfortable. The personnel were smiling, welcoming and service minded. We had a ground floor room with a little terrace facing out onto the garden. The room was a good size with a comfortable bed. We will stay here if we visit Vence again.

This tiny little place on the square delighted us! Camille welcomed us after a long drive from Moustiers Ste. Marie. This was the least expensive hotel on our 3-week journey, but one of the nicest. A modern room with a nice bathroom. Clean, quiet, overlooking the charming square and lots of interesting places to shop and eat. I ended up purchasing the breakfast which was just ”OK”, but enjoyed a conversation with the morning desk person who was equally friendly and helpful. Vence is a very short drive to the Nice airport.

The value of sustainability is exactly right there. There is everything you need but not too much of it.  Except from the promising perspective, there is enough of it. The view from the roof terrace is amazingly beautiful I saw the sunrise there. The free parking were our rescue for our broken car that needed a new battery. After a very good breakfast for nine euros we then collected new power and repaired the car. I would like to go back there at any time. Specially recommending is the first floor that is free of barrier. The hotel operators are very friendly and professional.

Stayed two nights Tuesday and Wednesday 28th and 29th July whilst on a motorcycle tour of Europe. Very welcoming and friendly Owner on arrival and great safe and secure parking on the terrace for motorcycles. Hotel is in a great location easy to walk into the old town and see the Matisse Chappelle. Gorgeous views over the valley below and to Nice and the coast, nice pool, small and clean. My bedroom was rather small in comparison to some of the photos that I see on the website so perhaps when booking if you need more space you might wish to enquire exactly which room you will have. It was fine for what I needed with a comfy and clean bed, small but functional bathroom and shower where the fittings are certainly not new, but they all seemed to work OK. Breakfast buffet a nice selection and a wonderful location on the terrace. I'd go back, with eyes open recognising what it is, a grand old house thats been converted to a hotel and has a delightful old shabby chic boutique feel, but it you want smart and highly maintained and sparklingly new - choose elsewhere. I loved it. Photos generally seem to do the hotel justice. Outstanding location. Very friendly and helpful and personable Owner/Manager. Recommended. Hope the review is helpful. Stuart

We just spent 5 nights at Villa St Maxime. It was the perfect spot to recharge our batteries and to visit various hill towns in Provence. I had the most restful sleep of my life in this quiet B&B between jaunts to Vence , Grasse, and Villeneuve-Loubet. We made two day trips into Antibes to shop and sun at the beach. This was the perfect location to stay at during our visit! We really appreciated the quality breakfasts which are included as well as the evening aperitifs which were a bonus. The only constructive criticism to offer would be a wish to hurry the replacement of the coffee machine so as to ensure quality French coffee with breakfast. Otherwise, 10 stars out of 5! Thanks Anne for your hospitality!

Just back from a fabulous stay in this gorgeous little hotel. All the staff are amazing (special thanks to Sylvie who is so accommodating). Lovely pool area which was so quiet we often had it to ourselves. We stayed in Suite 14 which was so spacious with excellent air conditioning and outdoor space. A perfect view of St Paul de Vence from this hotel. The gardens are immaculately kept. Would highly recommend this hotel.

I adore the Hotel Alain Llorca! This is my second visit to this gorgeous hotel, and I hope to become a regular visitor. I was again greeted by Benoit, who had welcomed me my first visit to the hotel. He was again absolutely amazing-his customer service is truly outstanding. I can recognize excellent customer service, as I am in customer service with the airlines, and his attention to the customer is truly genuine. This was my husband’s first visit to the hotel, and he was so overwhelmed with the beauty of the hotel, and its landscape. It is absolutely a gorgeous property. The rooms are beautiful, and the huge tub is such a bonus! It is a great way to relax after traveling from the states. We sat on the terrace and had drinks with a beautiful view of St Paul de Vence. There is an amazing Michelin star restaurant, which I ate at the last visit. We can’t wait to return to eat at this amazing restaurant again. I truly am filled with gratitude to have found this gem of a hotel, with an amazing staff who make you feel so welcome and at home. I cannot wait to return!
