Pathetic Service, Rude Receptionist and worst Breakfast is the specialty of this Hotel. Once you deposit money they behave like a road side Gundas. People are coming for Pilgrimage and the Management behaviour is like that they are challenging you. Breakfast was with empty food Pan and if you ask them it will take ages to deliver it to you. Overall will not recommend to anyone one. There should be strict action against Receptionist and Management.

My stay at this hotel was average overall. The room was clean and the bed comfortable, and check-in was quick and efficient. The location is a definite plus, being close to the Kashi Viswanath temple and the main shopping area. Restaurant food was okay, nothing special, though the poori and tea at breakfast were good. A minor inconvenience was the single lift, which could lead to delays when the hotel is busy. Finally, be aware that the road to the hotel can be closed by police at times, requiring guests to carry their own luggage.

The receptionist is rude. Should be changed. The Cottage room (most expensive), was smelly & upon asking the reception to change it, they didn't. Instead, they sprayed some freshner, which covered the smell temporarily, and again, it was the same. On booking, we had requested Jain food, and there were hardly any options available. Daily, they would serve Iddli/vada sambar and puri sabji. The only plus point is it's location.The Kashi Vishwanath temple & ghats are at walking distance.

Ganges Hotel"s lcustomer service Ajit Singh provided very good services and taking care of customer satisfaction. He concern on each customer to ensure very body enjoy the food and come again to the restaurant. IWe will recommend this restaurant to others Really appreciated.

Booked two superior delux rooms for four nights stay. As per Agoda site, room is with sofa, sitting place, fridge, drier, news paper etc. Nothing was on ground and hotel washed off their hands blaming Agoda. Per night charge for a room was 5500/- without breakfast. Front desk staff totally unfriendly and rude. Room was too small and no place to keep luggages and to move . No ventilation exept an exhaust fan. Open cheating.

1. Centrally located at the most ideal place at Godowlia Chowk. 2. At walkable distance from Kashi Vishwanath temple. 3. Very near to the auto stand so that walking is minimal for reaching various locations such as Dashwamedh ghat,Assi Ghat and Ravidas ghat for Cruise journey. 4. Very close to the famed eateries of Varanasi. 5. Upkeep of hotel is good. 6. Dining hall is very spacious though costwise on higher side. 7. The travel desk should be more active towards guests. 8.My advice to guests is to request for pick up and drop facility,as otherwise you may face problems due to traffic restrictions.

Overall, our experience was very good. Rooms were clean. Restaurant was excellent. Food was of great quality. Service was excellent. Specially mentioning Bhim, who provided great service at the restaurant. Can improve laundry service and the quality of beds/pillows.

About this hotel, I would suggest anyone to stay at if they come to Varanasi . Room is spacious with good king size bed and a spacious bathroom. The staff are also very humble, polite and helpful which simply enhances the quality of your stay. Specially thanks to Mr Anand from from Front office.
