Stayed 2 nights for a meeting. Clean hotel, friendly staff, firm mattresses, good shower, free tea and coffee (not in room). Located on a very busy roundabout towards the south of the city. Buses nearby to get into centre (no 7) and beach (no 99). More of a backpackers, workers hotel. Not too many families, reception is basic, bar has seen better days (you have to get cold drinks from the fridge and pay at reception). Luckily my room faced the back of hotel away from continual traffic of the 4lane roundabout out the front. Avoided breakfast as looked very school canteen. 100 euro a night, but it was summer in a coastal city.

The hostel is great in connecting everybody, because they have a group chat so it’s easier to connect with one another also they send recommendations in there so u know what there is happening in the city. Also they organize small dinners for a small price where everybody can meet. Around 8 in the morning the airco stops so it warmer in the room so u need to get the staff to turn it on again. And during the day it can get really hot in the common area unless u are oké with just sitting in front of a ventilator.. breakfast is really simple some slices of bread with jam/marmelade and 2 types of cereal so for me that would be something they could improve. But then again u can also make your own which is fine! Cause u can use the refrigerator and a basket to put your stuff in. Other then that I most definitely coming back here if I’m in Valencia.

We left our car in the free carpark next to the hotel, then entered it through a designated door to the reception area. The guy there was very efficient, friendly and helpful ! The room was very good, with a big comfy bed, a clean bathroom, TV, mini fridge, and a safe. Also no noises heard from rooms near to ours, a great plus ! All very good so far...but...! Breakfast was included in the price, and have to say was a little disappointing ! The coffee had a strange taste and there was only one choice of small bread roll for toasting (not nice either) ! Also no bananas or apples at breakfast. There was a gym and heath spa to use, but we were limited on time so couldn't try them ! Apart from the breakfast issues, the hotel was very good, and in a great location next to a commercial centre. Hopefully the breakfast disappointment was a one off, as I will stay there again when passing through Valencia again !!

Very good hotel. I really recommend it. We stayed here for a few days and everything was excellent. From the cleanliness to the service. The room is small but has everything you need. If you want more size you can book different room categories. The staff is really professional and always willing to help you with city recommendations, restaurant reservations, they even booked a private tour for us. You can buy tickets for the tourist bus at the reception desk and they recommend a bike rental store that they always work with and is only 5 minutes away from the hotel. Valencia is a great city for bicycles. The location is FANTASTIC, right in the center, in the commercial street of Valencia and really close to everything. They have a small rooftop bar with great cocktails. The breakfast is excellent, very varied, with hot options that are cooked for you on the spot! We will definitely come back!

A very comfortable room. We did hear some people talking to 2 AM on Friday evening so if you are a light sleeper like myself that might be an issue. They have a small kitchenette, we were able to make our own coffee and we even did some laundry. If you go to their market, you can always bring food back from the Market and heat up in the microwave. A must do if you’re there. Even buy a bottle of wine. You can wash your clothes but there is no dryer, but the clothes dry overnight on a rack that you can ask for. Very centrally located. We rented bikes from Pelican bike rental, and they were close to walk too. They had good bikes. We just followed a bunch of bike paths towards the Science Center and then over towards the marina and beaches. We biked 20 miles through Valencia.

I loved my stay at this hotel in Valencia, it was wonderful. I stayed here for 14 nights and it was great. Very clean hotel with sizable rooms, rooms come with a wardrobe, bedside tables, a tv, chester draws and clean towels almost ever day. The breakfast was wonderful, it is hosted in a large seating hall, plus there is also a centre outdoor seating area. At Breakfast their serve a wide variety of cakes, toast, cheeses, ham, fruit, rolls, boiled eggs, cereal, and some days pancakes, sausage, scramled and fried egg and bacon. There is also a variety of warm and cold drinks which includes hot chocolate, cappuchino, espresso, latte and tea, cold drinks include orange juice, mango juice, pinapple juice, apple juice and carrot juice. There is also a evening bar with indoor and outdoor seating. The staff are very friendly and helpful. There is bike hire and a car park underneath the hotel. The hotel also has an onsite gym. The hotel has 3 floors and over 100 rooms. For me it was perfectly located, its on a main road with lots of shops, bars and restaurants nearby. It is 20 minutes walk away from the City of Arts and Science and 30 minutes walk to the beach. There is a 10 minute walk to the Ayora metro station which is on line 5 and takes you to the Airport and the historic centre. Excellent hotel, would highly recommend a stay here even for a couple of days or a longer stay.

I have read a lot of bad reviews, but this is our experience: -Hotel staff: 100/100 great attention! Very pleasant, they resolve anything (we were without a loader and we were charged the phone). The hotel is very comfortable and very comfortable. -Cleaning: everything was in perfect condition and cleaning was unpolluted. The beds were quite comfortable. Soft coats and cotton fit. Haves pool and padel track. Unquestionably an experience we will repeat

GGuest UserThe great experience started at the time we stepped in through the door; We had an early flight so we have to wait our room some time. During that, hotel offered some Cava and other refreshments. Same great treatment continued the rest of our one week visit. The staff is absolutely pro and the Hotel is one of the best we have visited, very clean and quiet and the breakfast is best in town. Location is very good, and if you needed a taxi, the guys in the lobby were handling it over. Very strong recommendation.

Two small lifts brings us to our apartment which is 350fts square. The king-size bed and the sofabed are well prepared, so we can take my own bed. The sofa bed is just as good as the fixed bed.
The bathroom is spacious. Water is hot with strong water pressure.
The restaurant downstairs the hotel provided a welcome non-alcoholic drink and hotel buffet breakfast. Besides ham, buns and cheese. We can also have special meals from the kitchen like a dish of avocado, Salmon, scramble eggs with a toast. The dinner is also tasty with average spending at around €30-40 per person.
The apartment has washing machine. An individual space for clothes drying rack to dry out the clothes with hot air coming from outside. Everything is well designed with new refurbishment. You will just feel at home.
The kitchen stove, utensils and plates are provided. Everything is good.
Towels are clean and toilet papers are provided enough. The soaps smell good.
I am happy to come back again next time

It is worth mentioning that the service is full, the front desk lady is very nice.
Knowing that we were going to catch the train the next morning, I asked which train station very carefully (there are two, afraid that we will go wrong)
I left at 5 o'clock in the morning and didn't arrive at breakfast time. I helped pack it in advance and take it away. When I waited for the bus, I opened it and looked at it. It was too rich. ～ It was very good to serve from the perspective of the guests.

GGuest UserThis is a gem of a hotel providing excellent service in a modern environment and exceptional value for money. The hotel is a neat idea being built into an old building but providing new, clean rooms - clever design and great re-purposing of the building. Taxi cost around €25 from the airport. Rooms were clean with a very comfy bed and great shower. Breakfast was better than I expected - it was well presented and had good choice. One of our party requires gluten free but she had no problem finding something suitable each day. The staff even went out of their way to find black tea bags to satisfy English tastes! The staff are great - all young providing a friendly, polite and professional service. The location is fantastic - only 15 mins walk from the cathedral, Turia garden is across the road and metro station (line 4) is 5 mins away which takes you directly to the beach. We walked everywhere (except to the beach) including to the City of Art and Science (easy to find by walking through Turia garden and following it round. For football fans Mestalla stadium is about 25 mins walk away. Overall it’s a great hotel for those wanting somewhere close to the city that require a comfortable bed, excellent shower and simple but excellent breakfast.

JJose TorranoI read comments from someone who complained about everything that if the elevators were slow, if the air conditioning if there was little hygiene…. Let's see, I'm not saying that there can't be a specific case, but for example, it seemed great to me, for the weekend I've been. As there are more than 12 floors, it is normal for the elevators to stop like in El Corte Inglés, but nothing is a problem, perfect hygiene, the bathroom accessories are all fabulous.
The weather was more than enough, we are in August with a heat wave and I have slept with a sabanita…. There is a children's games service, the pool without anyone grilling you in case you have something to drink there, the parking directly to the room and the cafeteria in the hall is a luxury.
So for my part I would return and if it helps you I think you will not regret it.

GGuest UserWe stayed at the hotel for 2 days with 2 adults and 2 children (ages 6 and 9). Because the kids like Harry Potter, I asked for that room in advance via Booking.com. I got a response right away to confirm and when we arrived the kids were very happy with the room. The people at the front desk were very friendly and helpful (both in advance via chat and at the moment of our stay). We were early to check in and our room wasn’t ready so we could leave our luggage in their luggage room that’s next to the front desk. The room was big enough for what we needed. Some features were a bit outdated and could use a bit of an upgrade (for example the old showerhead or some yellow spots around the air-conditioning) but that didn’t bother us so much. The fact that it was very clean made up for the flaws. Breakfast was perfect as well. There was enough choice of fruit, pastries, bread, coffees, eggs… There was also enough for everyone. If something was out, the staff immediately brought out more. We would absolutely recommend this hotel when doing a city trip to Valencia. It’s in the heart of the old town and very close to the metro-stop Xativa and a few bus stops.

AAlbertRLocation is perfect. Just outside you can find many restaurants, shops and plazas. Really easy to find the nearest metro station. From the hotel location everything is really close to reach. Room is not quite spacious but it’s nice and clean. The only thing is that you can hear everything from the rooms beside but nothing to noisy.
I included breakfast for every morning. They have coffee machines, pastries, bread and cereals, cheese and ham, juices, yogurt and different kinds of milk.
If you don’t include breakfast, there’s a bakery and many restaurants just outside the hotel so you can figure out.
The staff was nice and kind.

GGuest UserI stayed at the Villacarlos in early May 2022 for eight days. My holiday was originally intended for April 2020, but the pandemic necessitated my having to postpone four or five times. A big thank you to the hotel for being so flexible with what was originally a non-amendable booking. Businesses which treated their customers well over Covid deserve recognition and customer loyalty for that. The hotel is on a tree-lined avenue just over a mile from the city centre; the walk into the city is very attractive, and the trees and Mediterranean vegetation in Turia park are superb. The hotel is clean and comfortable. Breakfasts have a good range of foods. Elena and all the other staff treat guests as individuals, and are helpful and courteous. The hotel is reasonably priced, and is an excellent base for any tourist or traveller who wishes to explore Valencia and the surrounding region. I recommend it wholeheartedly.

GGuest UserLong weekend in Valencia. I chose this hotel due to its location, reasonable price, pool & rooms with balconies. Unfortunately my booking agents (lastminute.com) made it seem I was booking a balcony room but when I got to the hotel they had given us a basement room. Lastminute.com were less than helpful clearing up the misunderstanding, however the hotel were fabulous, moving us the day after to a lovely balcony room, which did overlook the back (parking & apartment blocks) this was actually better as the front is onto a busy main road! Facilities were fabulous, all staff welcoming & friendly, room was cleaned every day, toiletries provided (although no conditioner). We didn't book for breakfast as we don't eat it, so can't comment on that! Had pool to ourselves most of the time & it was small but adequate, clean & sauna was nice. Situation was perfect as in middle between museums/oceanographic & main city centre, about 20 min walk to each & bus to beach was 1.50€, every 10 mins. Would definitely come again.

The reception is very welcoming, with vintage furniture and wooden beams showcasing a traditional style of old buildings in Valencia.
Room is small but clean, with red brick wall and a simple toilet but fully equipped: clean towels, shampoo, body gel, body lotion, hair dryer, etcetera.
The highlight is definitely the jacuzzi at the rooftop. When we arrived, we were a bit disappointed at first, since it was covered, however we kindly asked the staff who helped us to remove the protective cover and to turn the jacuzzi on. We enjoyed it alone overlooking the Valencia rooftops. Not the best view over the city skyline, but good enough to relax. The water in the jacuzzi was not warm, however given the summer heat it was good enough. Don’t expect any service at the rooftop though, so bring your own towels (or from the room) and drinks if you want to enjoy your time there.
