Urumqi Hotels with Wi-Fi

This was an excellent hotel with superb services. The staff, in particular was very helpful in arranging drives to various interesting sites. The lady called Sophia spoke excellent English which made life easy for foreigners. The only thing I would recommend is that they make an effort to clean the carpets more thoroughly.

This time I came to Urumqi and chose a well-established five-star hotel, Miramar Hotel. 1: The location is very good. It is in the center of Urumqi, not far from the Grand Bazaar and Hotan Second Street. There are Hongqi Road, Zhongshan Road, People's Cinema nearby... There are many delicious foods. The South Gate subway station is a ten-minute walk away. 2: The front desk staff is very enthusiastic, and the check-in is friendly, polite and fast. 3: The room is spacious and comfortable, and it is very comfortable to stay! 4: You can also see the People's Park of Urumqi in the room. 5: There is also a Uyghur manager in the hotel lobby, who also solved many problems for us. 6: I will choose to stay here next time [strong][strong][strong]

It's Hilton and I hardly found staff who can speak English. I felt like I was cheated. I paid for 2 big twin bedroom and I got one big and one regular roomsize. As i wanted spacious room, I was willing to pay more, but the duty manager at the time that I checked in said the other room seemed small, because it's a different floor plan. So I told them that I'm an interior designer, so I know what is big and small or even the manager could come and inspect the rooms with me. . After that they allow me to change the room. There're varieties of food for breakfast.

This is the fourth time I have stayed here, and every time I have a new experience. This time I was also very satisfied with the accommodation experience. I arrived in the middle of the night and the front desk staff warmly received me and professionally solved some problems with the house. It was a very good experience. I would like to make a special note that after the stay, Sister Song, the waiter on the 15th floor, saw our family travel and immediately sent us dried fruits and yogurt. During the stay, my family's clothes were torn, and she also kindly helped to sew clothes. It was like returning home. The pros: it’s attached to a high end mall it has a top of the line automatic bidet as it’s part of Marriott group, interior of room is reminiscent of its sister brand, the EDITION has a beautiful executive lounge Service and lift arrival is always prompt Bellboys and L1 aunties are helpful, earnest and friendly Byredo toiletries The cons: Poor awareness by local drivers resulting in many drivers, dropping off the wrong entrance Signages of the hotel can be vastly improved, as it’s not immediately clear that reception is at L37, and that there’s even a L1 lobby Room was stuffy even as I tried to lower the thermostat to 18 celcius, I was still perspiring in my room and the middle of the night One of my wash sinks was clogged The pillows are not exactly comfy and I didn’t know there was a pillow menu until the day of checking out, even as I stayed in other Conrads of the world Most of the staff who are in their twenties and thirties, have major rbf until you actually speak to them where they appear to be more pleasant and accommodating

The hotel is quite satisfactory and meets the standards of the old five-star hotel. The hygiene and breakfast are all good, and the bedding is comfortable. As long as you don't require a modern style, you won't step into the pit. The little beauty at the front desk is also very good. We arrived late, and there were no adjacent rooms for two rooms. Finally, let's talk about the shortcomings. I don't know why the door of the hotel lobby was not allowed to go up. It rained heavily in Urumqi on the day of arrival. After parking, I walked to the lobby in the rain. It was too embarrassing. The key is that there are elderly people. It's unacceptable to get wet in the rain. I also reported this to the front desk lady on the same day and got a timely response. Early the next morning, the front desk handled the extension of stay. The lady said that the lobby manager happened to be there. After reacting, I talked to the lobby manager, but I was very disappointed. This fat male lobby manager was extremely arrogant and rude. He looked down on people and didn't care at all. In the end, I guess he was helpless and said thank you with his back teeth. Sure enough, the iron block blocking the road was not removed until check-out. Finally, the concierge of this hotel is useless. It rained on the first day and the car could not go up. They would have given me an umbrella. On the second day, I needed to move something from the car to the room and needed the concierge's cart. There was no one in the concierge department. I asked the front desk and was told that they were not working and would have to wait for ten minutes. I said I didn't need help and just needed to get off the car. They told me that I could push it myself. I pushed the cart to move things. When I came back, the concierge had already started working. I pushed a big cart by myself, and the concierge just watched. It would have been fine if they didn't help push it, but they didn't even help open the door. Finally, to sum up, the five-star facilities are put up by a makeshift team.

From the moment I checked into the Xinjiang International Ruihao Hotel, the smiling service from the front desk lady to the room check-in experience was great. The warm tones in the room and the excellent service from the staff made me feel very comfortable. Overall, I was very satisfied with this stay and will choose this hotel again next time!!!

Overall the check-in process was smooth and efficient including the tedious task of having to show health QR codes, having pictures taken of passport with China residence visa side by side with phone showing health code, then making copies of visa page, passport page, last China entry stamp page, etc etc. In spite of the time this whole process takes the staff knew what they were supposed to do and went about the process as quickly as possible. A small welcome gift was an unexpected surprise. Special word of thanks to Ms.爱森那赫 at the reception (not sure if this is her actual name). She was the only one who spoke English and was guiding her colleagues to check us in smoothly. She also gave us a good recommendation to try local cuisine for dinner at a restaurant which was a 5 min walk from the hotel. The only confusing bit is the fact that hotel reception is located on the 3rd floor. Our Didi drivers did not know how to get us there as the drive up to the 3rd floor was through a parking lot next to the hotel. The hotel should either post clear instructions on a sign board for taxi/Didi drivers to follow or they should have someone posted at the entrance to guide vehicular traffic up through the parking lot to the lobby for check in. But all in all a pleasant experience and we would not hesitate to stay here again should we plan another trip to the city.

Finally, I was assured that the other car could park. 2. Front desk service. Because there was no place to park the second car, we were asked to go around nearby, so we went to Hetian Second Street. During this time, several children wanted to know the opening hours of the swimming pool, so they contacted Ctrip by phone. The front desk clearly divided it. It was not her business scope to contact another phone. I was too old to remember the phone number. I called twice to confirm. 3. We stayed in two rooms, one of which was next to a big window. It was a bit cold. We wanted to change rooms, but the bar lied and said there were no rooms. I continued to place an order and could book a room again. Finally, the manager knew about it and came to solve it. The manager's level is different. He was very warm and provided a hot fan and changed rooms. He also gave me a breakfast coupon. Their breakfast was good, but we didn't use it. It was not for the purpose of taking advantage. It got cold early this year. As a local, I can understand it, but I hope they would be more enthusiastic towards foreign tourists and maintain Xinjiang's business card. I also thank the handsome guy in the yellow vest for taking things back and forth. I will stay there again next time. The guest building is better.
