The standards of this hotel was not befitting of Novotel chain. There was no TV guide & electrical chargers were not set up properly & we had to shift the locations to charge my devices. Room was spacious & quiet expect for several tour groups designated on the same floor as ours which resulted unpeaceful nights. Service quality was acceptable but the management should seriously looked into quality & service standards of this hotel.

We were so happy with the outstanding service of Henry from the front desk. He managed very efficiently to get back my lost passport -just great 😊🤩👍

Do not stay here. I got trapped in the elevator when I stayed here. No one apologized or offered me anything afterward. The next day, there was a power outage from 10am-7pm. The elevators did not work that day and I was staying on the 12th floor... I had a panic attack after going down 12 flights of stairs only to find the door to the street locked with no way out. I had to climb back up in search of another staircase. I requested to be refunded for at least one day's stay, which the staff immediately agreed to. I had to go to a meeting though, as I was late because of the whole situation. Upon check out I was told that they would not do that. They even charged me for the one breakfast I had at the hotel. Ridiculous.

There’s no housekeeping until I called the reception around 16:00 PM. Breakfast is not good if you are a five stars hotel. Others all good.

The hotel room is clean and large Staff is bad in English and not helpful I have to book airport shuttle service by myself. :((

I stayed there over 7 nights. On the first day I arrived at 12 noon and the check-in time was 2.00 pm. After a 13 hour flight and car ride from the airport to the hotel I just wanted to get into the room and have a hot shower. Usually in all other cities and hotels in Asia, they would have allowed me to check in earlier if they had a room. In this case, they had a room but wanted to charge me the rate of 30% for that two hour stay. I paid for it as I was in no mood to argue over it and as my Mongolian business partners were with me and I did not want to cause a scene. The hotel toilet had a smell from the drainage pipe and they could not clear the smell even after I had complained. The service staff was generally pleasant although some of the restaurant staff need some further training. At the Chinese restaurant when I asked one of the waiter to change to a private room after being seated at the normal dining hall which was noisy, the waiter replied that he was busy. And asked me to go to the reception. Perhaps they are still a bit rough at the edges. Also, the 24 hour room service does not exist as is promoted in their brochure in the room. I had to go to the front desk and then I was directed to go to the coffee house to make my order. I asked why nobody picked up the 24 hour room service line and the front desk asked me what number I dialed. I replied 3222 as was in the brochure in the room and he told me it was 3150. I told him its 3222 as per the room brochure but he insisted it was 3150. I went back to my room to double check after placing the order at the coffee house and it was 3222 in the brochure. So either they have a wrong print or they have not updated with a new number. I was seated in the cafe many times and I noticed a gentleman who would go up to sign for a coffee at the cafe. I assumed he must be a senior staff of the hotel. If he was indeed a senior staff I thought he would be friendly enough to smile to the guests at the cafe and assume some if not all the guests are also guests of the hotel.

It was clean and the location was good. There is a shopping center not too far away. Breakfast was good and I would visit again if I go to Mongolia again.

It was in the city center, so it was easy to walk around! The hotel facilities were very clean and the service was great, so I was really satisfied! Next time I visit Ulaanbaatar, I will definitely book Novotel! The breakfast was also more delicious than I expected. Nothing was missing 👍

The hotel is very good, very close to the city center, the front desk service is also very good, all kinds of help are solved, and they also help to book the UBUS back to the airport, everything went smoothly

It was really bad for the price. First of all, I made a reservation with breakfast included, but when I checked in, they asked me to show them the reservation page to see if breakfast was included. I was confused because I've never been asked about this in any hotel I've been to. But the next day, when I went to the restaurant for breakfast, the restaurant also confirmed it. That's just me too; It was very unpleasant.. Still, the elevator was not available from 2pm to 6pm on the second day. It would have been nice if you had told me about this when checking in. They didn't notify me in advance, so when I came back after shopping to my heart's content, they told me the elevator wasn't working, so I had to kill time at a nearby cafe. On the second day, I waited all the time, went into the room, and turned on the water in the sink to wash, but I heard the sound of a bomb exploding and green water came out. I've stayed at several hotels and Airbnbs in Mongolia, but this was the first time I've been to a place where really yellow water came out... I couldn't not wash, so the green water came out. I turned on the water and washed it until it stopped coming out, but strangely, the water smelled like dirt. It was very unpleasant. I only stayed for two days, but there were so many absurd things that I don't think I'll ever use this hotel again. It's not cheap, and it's not close to the city... Anyway, I didn't like it very much.

Facilities: New Hygiene: clean Environment: Quiet Service: good The location is good, right in the city center. There are Chinese restaurants nearby and inside the hotel. The service is also good. The hotel is very clean and the room has good lighting and views. recommend!

The bed type was wrong and there was no air conditioning. Fortunately, the service staff were really great. Forget it 🤣

The service is OK, but the cleaning is always late, only coming at 6pm
