There are many hotels in Udaipur in the business of hospitality, but few truly and genuinely care for their guests. When my son lost his passport on a motorcycle ride to the Jaiwana Haveli, an hour north of Udaipur, not only did the manager arrange for a car to bring him back to the spot and successfully recover it, but also sent someone with him to translate, to help him search, and to keep him safe. They dedicated more than 3 hours of their time to help. Who shows that much care? That’s on top of all the amazing things you’ll read about this Haveli—the beautiful rooms, the spectacular location and views. This is my second stay here in 15 years, and I can’t say enough good things about the property and staff.

The hotel has one of the best locations in the udaipur offering closest proximity to key attractions like City Palace, Jagdish temple, Jagmandir , Hanthipol market, karni mata ropeway. Also nearby restaurants offer authentic ghar ka khana which are run by families. Other than lots of shopping places nearby. We enjoyed our stay alot. Hosts were pretty helpful during our stay , offering us suggestions for places to visit and best time to visit.

We stayed (my wife and I and my son and his girlfriend) in Jan 25 for 3 nights. This hotel was the recommendation from our son in law, where his family have stayed numerous times. The hotel is charming. Family run with Harsh at front of house, nothing is too much trouble, no matter who you ask. This basic hotel is so well located for everything you want to do in Udaipur. Be aware there are no lifts, and some of the access to rooms is labyrinthine. We stayed in rooms at the back of the hotel, high up and had good views of the lake. But really the best vantage point is the dining terrace, where you view the Summer Palace in the middle of the lake, as well as the beautiful buildings opposite. Our bed was comfortable and the room spacious enough. The only issue I have was the shower. We were used to 20 minute reheats, but our shower barely worked. This has to be a simple problem to fix. The food was great and the service quietly efficient. I would happily stay here again and would recommend Jaiwana Haveli.

Hotel was lovely to stay at. Amazing staff who are very welcoming on arrival and harding working young guys who caring suitcases up flights of stairs. Laalu in the restaurant was very attentive and friendly but still professional. Aslam our regular auto driver was kind, friendly, bubbly and always offered a ride outside. Very good pricing for the distance and time. Overall, Very happy with our stay and would HIGHLY recommend 🙌🏽😊

We stayed at Jaiwana Haveli for 4 nights. The lobby staff were extremely friendly and helpful, including helping to arrange taxis and managing laundry. The corner rooms were airy and beautiful - we started out in a room on a lower floor, where privacy was limited because we were on the same level as the rooftop restaurants of some other nearby hotels, but then moved to a higher floor which felt much more private. The rooftop restaurant has beautiful views and great food - a very nice daily breakfast is included - and Laloo and the other restaurant staff were lovely.

Jaiwana Haveli is like home away from home. The rooms are aesthetic yet simple and comfortable. The hotel is well maintained and is a beautiful old haveli converted. Owners used to live there too just a few years back. The owner Harsh, now a very good friend, is the sweetest guy, warm, welcoming and well spoken which also reflects in the behaviour of the staff. The views of old city and lake Pichola are spectacular from the rooms and its rooftop restaurant. Me and my wife sat on the terrace for hours watching the beauty of old city Udaipur and the sun set as we sipped our favourite drinks ***** with soothing bhajans with bells ringing from close by temples. The location of the haveli is perfect, 5 min walk to Jagdish temple as well as Ghanghor ghat and the city palace. If you are looking for a homely hotel, look no further than Jaiwana Haveli. An incredibly beautiful place to experience and enjoy Udaipur. The location between the palace and the lake is unique. The restaurant on the roof terrace serves local specialties and spectacular sunsets. The Jaiwana Haveli is a very personally run hotel; all employees are competent and very helpful. An extremely fair price-performance ratio.

Stayed four nights here with my teenage son. A beautiful place with sensational views of the lake and hills from the rooftop restaurant, which serves very good breakfasts. Opulent decor - marble staircase, character- filled spaces, old world charm. Very helpful host - we went on a cycling tour with him, which I highly recommend doing. Our room was a long climb up, but worth it - spotless, spacious and very nicely decorated. If stairs are an issue for you, make sure to ask for room that's lower down. Very short walk to lots of restaurants, attractions and shops. Highly recommend this place and plan to return one day.
