Jaiwana Haveli

An incredibly beautiful place to experience and enjoy Udaipur. The location between the palace and the lake is unique. The restaurant on the roof terrace serves local specialties and spectacular sunsets. The Jaiwana Haveli is a very personally run hotel; all employees are competent and very helpful. An extremely fair price-performance ratio.

Stayed four nights here with my teenage son. A beautiful place with sensational views of the lake and hills from the rooftop restaurant, which serves very good breakfasts. Opulent decor - marble staircase, character- filled spaces, old world charm. Very helpful host - we went on a cycling tour with him, which I highly recommend doing. Our room was a long climb up, but worth it - spotless, spacious and very nicely decorated. If stairs are an issue for you, make sure to ask for room that's lower down. Very short walk to lots of restaurants, attractions and shops. Highly recommend this place and plan to return one day.

They suggest an upgrade to get the room with a view .. you have to pay it cash.. but they don’t give you the room with a view.. you just get the view with some other building between your room and the lake.. we had to struggle to get what we paid for… the photo show you the view from our first room… after they change the room but trying to provide us a room on the second floor which was not the one we asked.. and we payed for .. there are better places around.. at a similar rate

Room was clean and spacious. Shower was difficult to regulate. Wi-fi was spotty in our room. Breakfast was fine. Staff were friendly. Lots of eating options around the hotel. The area was right in the middle of lots of shopping and a great view of the lake.

The hotel is in a great location, the staff speaks very good English and they have good restaurant with view. The room is modest but clean and at that price what you should expect. The price was good and the staff helped us arrange cars for transportation to the airport. They also gave is a map of all the major sites to see and made some good recommendations. Bottom line is that it is a good clean budget hotel in a great central location.

They were always available with helpful suggestions on what to do during our stay, offering insider tips on the best local attractions, including boat rides on Lake Pichola and visits to nearby temples and markets. Their personal touch in guiding us through the city made our visit even more enjoyable. Situated near many of Udaipur's top tourist sites, we were able to explore the city with ease, all within walking distance or a short rickshaw ride. The accessibility of the location made it a perfect base for exploring the city. The breakfast provided each morning was another highlight. The spread was not only delicious but also thoughtfully prepared, featuring a variety of fresh and flavorful local dishes. It was the perfect way to start our day before heading out to explore. The overall atmosphere at Jaiwana Haveli is peaceful and inviting, with stunning views of Lake Pichola adding to the charm. The combination of excellent service, convenient location, and warm hospitality made our stay unforgettable. I highly recommend Jaiwana Haveli to anyone visiting Udaipur – it truly offers an outstanding experience.
