Conveniently located about 20 minutes walk from Turpan Museum and under half an hour taxi ride from airport, train station and Jiaohe, the hotel was great value w very big room and bed, nice walk-in shower and very helpful front desk staff.
Breakfast was disappointing being a massive restaurant and by 9.45 most of the Chinese buffet items had finished and staff were slow to top up. There was no tea or coffee available at breakfast either.
The coffee shop in the lobby looked very enticing and comfortable, but this is a separate franchise and for some reason was not open all day or even at 11.00 in the morning.

Absolutely loved JJ Coffeetel in Turpan. First and foremost, a huge kudos to the front staffers, especially Mustafa! He not only responded to our unusual requests but kindly showed us around the neighborhood. Along with other staffers, he also helped us get some items we’d been looking for from a local merchant. Our room had a nice view and the breakfast was a critical energy booster every morning. I guess there’d be a limit to this service depending on the season but they also helped us coordinate our one-day tour to Huoyanshan and the two old citadels. Thank you again for giving us such an unforgettable experience. We will be back!

Really nice hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Our room was on the 10th floor with a great view over the city. The room itself was spaciou and, clean. we really loved the interior design. Would come again!

Great to have a cafe at the lobby so we can get our coffee fix, breakfast is also good. Room is spacious. Only thing is the cafe opens at 10am Beijing time so we were always waiting for it to open.

The best hotel in this price range that I stayed in in China! Room nicely decorated and functional, very clean (bathroom as well), breakfast good, staff helpful, great view over the city, good location right next to the bazar. Nothing to complain about at all.
