Beautiful looking hotel in a convenient center town location. Rooms are small but have everything you need. Food and drinks are great when they get to you because service is a bit slow so order with enough time. Nonetheless we were treated nicely by the staff. The rooftop pool and the view from there is gorgeous.

It was unfortunate that we had some trouble with the reservation, but the service they provided made up for it.
When we were unable to make a reservation for one day, they upgraded us and made a reservation at another hotel in the chain.
When there was a problem with our rental bike, they arranged for a new bike from another place.
And Layla's hotel was wonderful, especially the view from the rooftop pool.
If I had to point out one drawback, it would be that the room had a bit of a moldy smell, probably because it was by the pool.
It didn't bother me after staying in the room for a while.
The other facilities were great, and I would recommend this hotel if you're staying in the downtown Tulum area.

When I tried to check in on the day of my reservation, I was told that my reservation had been canceled due to a system error, but the staff were so kind as to upgrade me to their sister hotel, Sana hotel....
I had the best time at this beachfront hotel.
I'd definitely like to stay at this hotel again, so I'll book again on my next trip.
Both the hotel and the staff are absolutely amazing.
