I love this B&B in the city center, we had an incredible weekend in Tropea. It is located in the most centric area of Tropea near to restaurants bars and beaches, Ornella and Kona were taking care of everything and they were also able to arrange a perfect gluten free breakfast. I recommend this B&B to everyone!

Location perfect !! Staff are friendly and eager to provide any assistance regarding all facets of tropea. Antonello and Cora assisted me with organising trips to the beach clubs etc. Shower is a bit small but it’s the view to the beach that Is simply amazing

Presenting itself as a quaint B&B in the town center, Blu Tropea Maison is in fact part of notorious Valentour.it, a ghost company that takes reservations, charges entire stay in advance, then diverts travelers at check-in to an off site property of meager accommodations. They offered my wife room via private email (though they were already beyond capacity) but we immediately learned from our holiday party that they too were being sent to another off site property. In researching their company profile and Ministry of Tourism we discovered they have a long history of deceiving travelers. We were forced to make other arrangements. The voucher they provide was invalid.

This was our favorite little property in Tropea. We have stayed there 4 times. When Covid hit they broke our written contract stating we "PAY AT HOTEL DIRECTLY AT CHECK-IN" by charging our card the full amount on March 17th and then canceled our reservation a month later. We understood the finacial crises they must have been in, and we were empathetic though we were also facing the same hardships. The whole world was. But to violate a contract this way without warning or consent was unusual. We were promised a return stay once we met international vaccine guidelines which we were able to finally get medical clearance for. We sent new dates and they refused to honor stating their own contract language "Reservation cannot be changed. THEY had changed it. Every other propety in Rome, Amalfi, Scilla, Taormina and Palermo honored our reservation as did the airlines, ferries, Trenitalia and private car services. Blue Tropea Maison was the ONLY establishment to act dishonorably and illegally. We have a flight, train cabin, car service and literally no hotel room because they kept all our money.

Avevamo prenotato una camera con loro, a causa di un urgenza lavorativa abbiamo perso le ferie, abbiamo chiesto di annullare la prenotazione anche se era senza rimborso, diciamo che non si sono tirati indietro a intascarsi tutto come previsto dalla prenotazione invece che venirci incontro… Penso che ormai la gentilezza e la cortesia si sia persa a discapito del guadagno a discapito del prossimo.
