Great location and grand Italian Villa. Our room #20 was at ground floor with private outdoor area. Reasonable standard. Other than a faulty shower rose, the room was reasonable considering its vintage. Trying to communicate ahead of arrival on where to park a car via phone was futile, and the receptionist when we got here just shrugged her shoulders when questioned why no answer, then added no value as to where we should park. We are very disappointed that we were given no help to find a parking area for our 2 day stay. Note unless you are very lucky all the free parking spaces in the area are snapped up by the locals. The paid parking nearby is at horrendous cost. We are 66 Euro out of pocket for open paid unsecured parking for two days. No help from the Hotel. They should provide at a minimum a map of where there are suitable parking, or prearrange with a parking company suitable parking spots for their guests, even if it’s an extra charge. Finally, the continental breakfast we had here is not up to standard of a 4 star hotel. Rather than a raft of cakes perhaps a greater emphasis on providing fresh fruit would be a healthier choice.

La struttura è curata, pulita e molto molto bella l. La terrazza che accoglie gli ospiti offre una vista sul lungomare di Tropea meravigliosa, permettendo di ammirare dei tramonti sul mare indimenticabili il personale è sempre sorridente e molto disponibile. La colazione è abbondante e varia e poterla gustare sulla terrazza è un valore aggiunto. Un ringraziamento particolare va al signor Giuseppe che mi ha inviato immediatamente gli occhiali da vista che avevo dimenticato in stanza. Penso che persone così corrette, oneste ed affidabili siano davvero rare. Consiglio sicuramente questa struttura a chi vuol visitare il paesino di Tropea che si trova a pochi passi dall'hotel. La spiaggia adiacente è accessibile da una scalinata privata che ne favorisce il raggiungimento.

Personale gentilissimo, ma... Al nostro arrivo abbiamo ricevuto una stanza al primo piano... La stanza presentava un po' di polvere, inoltre il sifone della doccia era sopra il wc e non vi era nemmeno una tenda che dividesse l'area wc con doccia dal resto del bagno. Su nostra insistenza siamo stati spostati (il giorno dopo) al piano terra, ove le stanze hanno il bagno ristrutturato. In questa stanza non funzionava il frigo che perdeva acqua, ma almeno avevamo un bagno degno di questo nome. Al mattino personale gentile ci accoglieva per la colazione, tuttavia poco dopo le 08 non vi erano già più croissant al cioccolato. Inoltre per la colazione salata vi era soltanto prosciutto e formaggio a fette (ma o trovavamo una cosa o l'altra) ed il pancarrè non poteva essere piastrato per mancanza di apposito strumento.

Rest in June, from 14 to 25, room 103. Beautiful in all respects hotel, rest very happy. Addresses hotel: 1. The hotel is on a hill with a stunning view from any point on the territory: sea, port, Tropea, mountains ... the best panoramic pictures we did not leave the hotel. 2. Far from the city noise and the crowd, at the same time to the city center, beaches, port, from where ships open for a tour and even the railways can be reached on foot without any effort. If you don't want to walk, you can call a motor taxi tick, 10 euros one trip. 3. 5 minutes from the hotel is a beautiful beach, sandy, there is a paid area with cheeslones and free, where you can come with your umbrella, see my separate review for Tropea beach about the beach. It was so much liked to us (though at the nearest and in the Capo Vaticano we were also), that no more to go anywhere, not because close, just it was for us the best beach in Tropea In the hotel quietly, quietly, guests don't interfere with each other despite that, That hotel is all 30, probably. We had a standard room with a small patio, a door-ooking that everybody here rumbles and one bed. The room is just great, not luxurious, but everything you need to eat and done quite thoughtfully. About the door of the window I want to say separately: it absolutely does not prevent living, consists of a glass part and a separate door of the roller. Both perfectly pass the light and air. We lived with an open glass door, only used roller. Because we don't like the air conditioner. Breakfast modest: coffee, 2 juice, tea, cut sausage and cheese, sausages, eggs, cruissans, cake, sweet pie and doughnuts, butter, jam, chocolate pasta and yoghurt. But we had enough almost until the evening with a light snack and appetite in the day) During the day on the respiratory bar works, you can buy coffee, ice cream, water, juice, alcohol, panini with different finishes. But eating more thick will not be possible except breakfast kitchen in our trip did not cook food. But we didn't need, so many places for dinner and dinner around! In the apartments guests cooked themselves, they had a full kitchen. A small shop with the most necessary food is in walking in availability. I found myself very good for the careful cleaning, both in the room and in the common rooms. It feels the proper smell of cleaning. The rooms are large and the bed is very comfortable. Breakfast is varied and satisfies both the sweet and the salad breakfast. There are solutions for those who are vegan or cheliaco. The lady who takes care of breakfast welcomes you with professionality and garbo making you feel at home. The hotel is very comfortable and is very comfortable and I think it is really exceptional for the structure itself, which it deserves, but also for the human aspect that is a considerable added value. I hope I will return this time, with my family, in the summer period.

I love this B&B in the city center, we had an incredible weekend in Tropea. It is located in the most centric area of Tropea near to restaurants bars and beaches, Ornella and Kona were taking care of everything and they were also able to arrange a perfect gluten free breakfast. I recommend this B&B to everyone!
