The hotel is in a very quiet and peaceful place. It is quite a long walk from the port: 30-40 minutes, and you need to take into account that you will have to walk uphill (it is very difficult with suitcases).
But at the same time, the walking path to the hotel from the center / from the port can pass through the main attractions of Trieste (the Fortress, the Roman arch, the Roman theater, the church), all of them are within walking distance. In the fortress there is a good observation deck (access after 19:00 is free, that is, without buying tickets) and a bar on the observation deck (though there are practically no free seats in the bar - it is a rather popular place)
The hotel is clean and cozy. The room has clean linen, a comfortable bed, good lighting. Kettle and tea accessories, Access at night (23:00 - 07:00) by code on the door, since the reception is not open at night

There are no toiletries, no exhaust, and the paper towels in the bathroom are wet after taking a shower. Everything is like a small workshop. If you say the breakfast is delicious, it is better to find a good restaurant. If you say the service is good, it does not involve profits.

Breakfast was below any expectations. - capsule coffee tasted awful - no warm dishes - very poor choice - syrup water instead of juices Room was neat but: - No ventilation so you will get out of fresh air during night - Opening the window was not a good choice either because of street noise and some brumming device behind the window. - Noisy aircon stinking of mold while running
