"Clean and sanitary, with a washing machine and dryer, which is great! It's just a little difficult to cook, the electric stove has little fire, and there are few cooking tools. There are several restaurants to choose from downstairs, and there is a river bank on the other side, and there is a park for children to play. It's a good choice for a walk after dinner"

"It's very stylish, and it looks like a very old house at first glance. You can take photos everywhere, and it’s convenient to park early. There’s a huge wine supermarket nearby. The bed is also very retro, and little people have to climb on it"

"The lock is weird on the lower level room as the lock is placed inside out, which locks the room from outside. The air-conditioner (heating) does not work very well, which cannot provide a comfortable temperature in the living room unless we take the heater from sleeping room to the living room. The house is right next to the main traffic and it is noisy especially some motorcycles are running on the main road."

"As a solo traveller just spending one night in Launceston, The Star Hotel was the ideal choice. It is centrally located and street parking was easy to find and free between 17.30 and 09.00 next day. The room itself was compact but comfortable with an ensuite. The friendly, efficient female staff member was able to help with local advice and when I decided to have dinner later, the food and service were exceptional. Three see a couple of stair cases to negotiate but really no trouble. This place was a highlight of my travel in Tasmania."
