"It's a lovely hotel in traditional Japanese style. It has a pretty inside garden and an onsen (no private onsens for booking, only common ones for all hotel guests that are divided for males and females). Hotel provides you with a yukata and a haori for your stay (you don't rent it, they are included in price), which is very convenient. When I asked the receptionist if I can buy them, 'cause I loved them so much, she said I can take them for free if I want. I double checked to avoid any miscommunication, but she insisted that I don't have to pay extra for those. Everything in the fridge, including alcohol, is free. Hotel is a bit far from the main street, but has a transfer, so I'd say it's fine. We ordered a dinner and breakfast, and both were absolutely wonderful, had several courses."

"The room is very clean, but the facilities are a bit old. The tatami is quite good, and the quilt is of average quality and not fluffy enough. Advantages: The location is very close to several major hot springs (except Konoyu which is a little further), and the service is in place, especially the old lady who serves the meals is very attentive and thoughtful. I didn't plan on going to the hot spring in the morning... You have to bring your yukata up from the 2nd floor. The room is spacious."

"Every day, there is a shuttle bus waiting for passengers getting off the express trains. The hotel is far from the station and is located deep in the town, but it is also very quiet. With the shuttle bus, you can go in and out for shopping at any time, which is very convenient. The hotel feels newly renovated and has an outdoor hot spring upstairs. The two meals may be average. Due to the agency of Ctrip, the specific meals are not clearly marked. We ordered a vegetarian dinner, which was not very enjoyable!"
