I am a very regular client of the B&B channel and this is not the first time I stay at the B&B of Tourcoing but this time, very disappointing: - From the opening of the room, a very unpleasant smell is felt. It comes from the bathroom and makes it think of urine that would have macerated several hours in the heat. - in the shower, the presence of very visible moisture in an angle. - The television does not respond to the telecommand, I look closely at it to see that the television power cable is completely unconnected and rolled behind the screen and that the antenna cable is also unconnected. Since when is the customer to make the connections ? By reading a view of a person who stayed here 3 weeks ago, I check the bed closer: - the sense of keeping the plate that serves as a pad are not even swim, The hotel is very affordable, but the maintenance and hygiene must not be dependent on the price.

We spent a night in transit in this hotel at a ten-minute walk from the station. The prices are very low, so it is clear that you do not expect high performances but the minimum is: a functional bathroom in the room, a comfortable bed, clean room. The only bemol is noise because half of the rooms are located on the edge of a very frequent boulevard.

We stayed here over the Paris Roubaix weekend, had an excellent stay. Great breakfast, parking close by, Easily Cycleable to the Roubaix velodrome in the morning. The manager was extremely helpful, and good English which was useful as my French is terrible. The room was comfortable, could probably do with a couple more pillows, and it was a touch warm, no matter what we pressed to cool it down, but the window was easily opened to let a breeze in.

All has changed since the change of manager. The rooms are cleaner. The house is done regularly. Works were done in the rooms and the reception. The client is much more serious. Efficient check in, no hassle. Outside of the hotel has seen better days, but the room was large enough for a single night. The bed was actually of a better quality then expected - I've stayed at more prestigious brands with inferior bedding. Bathroom clean, water pressure optimal. Maybe an extra towel would have been nice. Breakfast was simple, but sufficient. Great value for money.
