Awesome hotel! Although some places look old, they are very clean and tidy, so they are not affected. Dinner is set but it's different every day, some days are amazing. Breakfast was buffet but basically nothing changed. The hot springs are very good, especially the outdoor hot springs. Snow falling on the body under the stars feels special. The hotel staff is the most hardworking I've ever seen, and the same person dials the front desk, the restaurant and so on. There is a young man named Pu who speaks some Chinese in South Korea who is very friendly and tries to meet the various needs of guests. The only thing that was not very satisfactory was the attitude of a typical Japanese male who was rather perfunctory. We wanted to change the dinner time one day and he refused. Later, I asked the young man named Park, he said yes, and then called and confirmed with the restaurant to help us improve our time. All in all a hotel worth visiting again.

The buffet is delicious. You can choose from a variety of dishes, and there are many plans. I take a direct shuttle bus from Tokyo Station. Although it takes time, it is straightforward and therefore very convenient. I went in winter, but the open-air bath in the snow was very pleasant. There are many types of baths and they are very good. I think family and friends can enjoy it. We used massage but it was good and comfortable.

The mid-sized inn is moderately priced and good value. Nice hot spring onsen with an indoor and outdoor bath. It was snowing and a long dip in the outside bath was a special treat. Dinner and breakfast were served at the dining area in a private room. The dinner was a fabulous kaiseki style course with much of the menu from local vegetables, mushrooms and fresh water fish. There was a small museum just behind the ryokan with modern art and Korean antique porcelain, and an eclectic collection of several other paintings. The museum's owner is from the small mountain village and the owner of the famous 'Tenichi' tempura chain. A enjoyable museum worth the visit while going on a walk. The service was very good and appears the two main managers were husband/wife ensuring you feel welcomed and looked after. As we were getting ready to check out a gentleman from the ryokan was already out in the cold and snow, removing snow from our car windows.

Stunning place to stay. Amazing views from very spacious rooms. Excellent service. Nothing was too much trouble. Teens had the best time exploring and making snow men. Enjoyed skiing at a close resort as Naspa skiing was over for the season. Easy access to town bus leaves every half hr.

The hot spring was also a pleasant inn The correspondence of the inn is also very polite and I want to go again. The room is cleaned.

It seems contradictory, but it is an extraordinary experience to be very relaxed. The location is not a hot spring town, in a quiet countryside. The meal was a dish centered on local ingredients, and although it was not flashy luxury, all of them were made with their own ingenuity, and they were surprising and enjoyed very much. For example, the soil soup served at night was a potage made with burdock, taro, and chrysanthemum, and it was a fresh experience that should be called ”tasting the umami of the soil”. It was a very satisfying stay with a feeling of cleanliness and neat cleaning. Breakfast was included in the accommodation and dinner was taken at the restaurant in the building. Both were delicious. The two large communal baths were beautiful and the view was good. There was an open-air bath surrounded by snow and an open-air bath with a large mountain in front of me, so it was beautiful and relaxing. There were many small children staying, so I was full of energetic energy. On the other hand, I saw quite a few people staying in three generations of family. Overall, I think it was an environment where everyone seemed to enjoy and felt happy. I used it for skiing this time, but it was a hotel that I would like to stay even if I didn't ski.

I usually eat rice as I pass, but it is great that it is just a amount in my stomach even though the number of items is large. Also, the cold sake of sake of sake (300 CC 1200 yen) was delicious and perfect for cooking. The breakfast was also satisfactory at the same venue. The staff at the restaurant is also very good customer service.

There is a 24-hour convenience store near the station, and the location is great. However, be careful as the parking lot is small. The lobby is small and there is a chair fight. There are three private baths, but the place called ”Iwanoyu” is crowded, and depending on luck on the day you check in (relatively vacant during dinner) ”Iwanoyu” is vacant early in the morning of the next day (around 4:00 to 6:00).
