Hotels near Sumiyoshi Shrine in Tokyo

Overall, reasonable hotel. I went to check in at 3pm but the actual check in time was 10pm, which was a bit strange. Bed is very comfortable. Clean environnement with good service. The rooms isn’t too small. But the bathroom just has a shower. The walls are very thin and it’s easy to hear those around you. The staff was friendly and allowed me to store my bags which I waited. Extra towels are provided and all cleaning necessities (shampoo, conditioner, body wash etc)

We book two rooms one double and one triple. Both are very small even by Japanese standard. But it is very clean, new and functional. All amenities are self service, hopefully it reduces wastage. Daily housekeeping provided although we declined to be environmentally conscious. Location was two blocks from Tsukiji market where we had breakfast every day for three days stay. It is close to metro - Higashi Ginza or Ginza station. Beds were comfortable, shower awesome although that seem to be the norm rather than exception in Japan. During a ten days Japan trip we have been impressed with all the hotels, average priced but so clean and pleasant compared to North American hotels of similar price. This is a nation you can’t help but respect!

Completely renovated hotel reachable a few steps from Monzen-Nakacho metro station ( T12 - E15 ) exit 6 ( nearest ) or exit 5.Il personal at reception is very nice and, always in the hall , All the accessories that we forget to carry in our baggage (e.g. swab and toothpaste) are available. The room was quite spacious, for the Japanese standard, had two single beds of very generous sizes (about one and a half square), even the bathroom was quite ”sized” with bathroom and technological toilet. The bathroom has a 55-inch TV, a small refrigerator (vacuum) and a boiler to prepare some hot drinks. The air conditioning system worked perfectly.The room was clean, but mostly soundproofed. Free and very fast Wi-Fi In the vicinity of the hotel you will find a lot of typical restaurants and also typical Japanese locals ( for night life you have to move elsewhere 9. In conclusion I was very pleased.

Not in a perfect or ideal location to downtown Tokyo, or the tourist attractions. Helpful staff, clean. This place does not offer room service, so if you plan to stay multiple days, be prepared to use the same towels. You can have your room clean for an extra charge.

I had to stay near Tokyo Station for early morning departure, but the price was high everywhere, and if I didn't walk more than 10 minutes from Tokyo Station, there seemed to be no cheap hotel, but I don't like rolling my luggage and walking, so I'm clean I decided to change the station and stay in kayaba Cho. From here, you can get to Tokyo Station for a few minutes by taxi and a few hundred yen. If you don't even have luggage, Tokyo Station seems to be within walking distance, but considering the cheapness of this hotel, you feel that taxi use is good. The hotel is small, but clean and comfortable. There are people at the front desk, but check-in out is done by machine. There seemed to be a coin laundry on the side of the front desk. If you just take a shower and stay, you don't want to do something in the room, you're here. I didn't know the restaurant because I came to the night and was early in the morning, but there will be no inconvenience because it is in front of kayaba Cho station. Convenience stores were close.

For various reasons we had to extend our stay by another night and were pleased to do so. It allowed us to experience K’shiki restaurant as well as Tapas Molecular Bar which we were already booked into. Osamu Okazaki ensured that our check in went extremely smoothly and offered services which made us feel very welcomed. He really did relieve the stress that had been caused by the day’s events. The room was magnificent and allowed us to totally unwind. The hotel is close enough to places of interest to fill your time if needs be. The restaurants were exceptional. K’shiki with it’s vague nod towards italian cuisine was exceptional. We chose Chef’s Dinner Menu and each course was interesting and surprising. Service was exceptional. Tapas Molecular Bar is one of those restaurants which is really special in the world. It’s hard to write a review without ruining the surprises. Suffice to say with only seating for eight you really do need to consider your reservation well in advance. Chef Kento Ushikubo is as talented as it gets. His food is intense in taste, creative and in many cases just baffling. He could almost be a member of the Magic Circle with the illusions he creates. One of the most thoughtful and considerate people I have met, and meet him you do because he is with you preparing everything throughout the meal, you just wanted to applaud with a standing ovation at the end. He made it particularly special for our wedding anniversaries and I can’t say how because it would spoil another illusion. I was just staggered that with all our experience of eating throughout the world we were introduced to new experiences. Spoiler alert; I cannot believe his ‘powdered ice cream’ has not been ‘borrowed’ by other chefs. Sadly, unless we manage to return, some of those experiences will be a once in a lifetime event. It is neat and tidy. It is also very near to the train station and tsukiji outer market. Overall, it is a satisfying experience.

It is close to the station of Shintomi CHO, but it may be lost when you go for the first time because the road facing is thin and the surroundings are residential areas. If I had left my luggage in advance, I was carrying it to the room, and it was very helpful for my tired body. There is no mirror on the wall facing the table, so it may be a little lacking for the woman who wants to sit and makeup. (There is a view at the entrance and exit, so there is no mirror) It seems to have opened recently, but the bathroom is small with a long time ago standard.

As a result, the schedule for the night was changed, but I used it without canceling. The doll town is also close and there is no problem with dinner. The room was like a double and was relatively large as a single youth. The TV was large and the direction was good. There were two pillows and it was convenient to sleep. The key to the room is not an auto lock with a password number system. The front desk was unmanned because the check-out was early. It's made well as narrow. The disadvantage is that the capital high passes next to it, and it wakes up with the sound of the noisy car passing 々.

I was disappointed that it was a hotel selected separately by the bath and toilet on the pack tour of the accommodation site. Rich has a bus in the direction of Tsukiji and Toyosu, close to Higashi Ginza and Ginza Station, and Lawson is in the adjacent hotel. 2F There is an elevator on the back side as well as the stairs in front of the hotel front. The correspondence and facilities of the employees were good. Animation tea and drinks are installed next to the front desk, coffee can be brought to the room with a cup, and there is a newspaper so you can choose the necessary items. When I arrived early and left my luggage, I received a check-in explanation and returned from going out, and immediately went to the room as soon as I received the room key and the luggage I left. However, when I entered the room, the smell ... Turn on the air purifier and go to the toilet. I chose a separate room for the bathroom and toilet, but when I opened the toilet door, there was a bathroom door in front of me, and the lower one was full of black mold, and the inside was also moldy ... The cause of the smell was found to be the bathroom. DHC shampoo, conditioner, and body soap are installed in the bathroom, and when you return from the outing and use the shower, you remove the bath chair and the floor is also black mold. Is this state still ６ in about a year? The next morning, when I woke up, my nose didn't stop ... I went out and settled. The bottle of hand washing soap in the washbasin is hard enough to push. This time I stayed at ２ on a consecutive holiday, but there is no next use. The response was good, but it was very disappointing that the water was not clean.
