Best Hotels near Shichigo-Ya, Tokyo

Hotel was easy accessible from Shinjuku station through an underpass. There’s a video from hotel website that shows how to get to hotel using the underpass. There are eateries/restaurants/Lawson/familymart in the hotel. Lobby looks nice and grand. However the room and toilet are kind of old fashioned. Luckily it was still quite clean. The laundry machine for washing and drying were separate. After wash you have to go and manually transferred to dryer :( and you can’t monitor the washing status through tv. 2 other hotels we stayed b4 have this service. The rooms and facilities needed an upgrade. Will not come back again.

Good escape for you especially if you transit for long time or just lost your flight like me hahaha. They provide free shuttle bus to airport vice versa

Counter staff are friendly and can converse in English. Hotel room is small but since I am staying for one night only, it did not matter. Buffet breakfast is good and has a generous spread.

I had a wonderful time at this beautiful yet understated property. It was a peaceful oasis just within walking distance of shops, parks, nightlife, easy transport to the rest of the city from subway. I was most impressed by the unobtrusive consideration from staff. I came a few hours before check in, asked to store my luggage for a good nearby spot to relax. The staff, seeing I was tired, instead offered me a slightly upgraded room that was immediately available for check-in. Throughout my stay I was courteously offered umbrellas to take as I walked outside, bottles of water after my workout, but never felt as though I were being hovered over. I will certainly stay here again.

Excellent location in Shinjuku, right opposite the Tokyo Metropolitan Building, where you can go up to the observatories for free and get great views. The hotel itself is quite old now but it’s been refurbished. Lots of rooms so it’s quite busy, but there are staff everywhere to help you. Good value if you can book early enough and get a decent rate.

Location is really convenient, close to train and many good restaurants nearby! There’s also a few convenient stores nearby! Room wise is really small but gets cosy. Although they do clear your rubbish, change your towels and toothbrushes daily, they don’t clean anything else. We did indicate for room cleaning a couple times but the floor was still dirty and there were hairs in the toilet floor. Reception staff was friendly and helpful. They do provide a variety of amenities that need to be taken from the reception lvl. On the room floors, they do provide water and ice dispensers. Overall, a good hotel 👍🏼

This is a beautiful hotel set in a nice, quiet location, with all the amenities close by for a relaxed stay in Tokyo. It's a clean tidy comfortable hotel (4/5 star rating). The luxurious rooms come with en suite bathrooms, toiletries, A/C, heating, flat screen TV, tea/coffee facility, daily room service and so on. There is also complimentary coffee/tea available all day in the lounge area on the ground floor. Kasai subway station is only a minute's walk from the hotel to visit attractions/places of interest in Tokyo. Bus station is also located within walking distance (just near KFC) for travelling to Narita & Haneda international airports. Restaurants, fast food outlets like kfc/McDonald, convenience stores etc are all located nearby. The Buffet style breakfast provided (with a very limited selection) could have been a bit better though. Especially on the day of our departure at 06:30 am in the morning, the restaurant was serving breakfast but it wasn't buffet style, instead Japanese Obento box meal was served with Rice, Veggies, piece of Fish etc which was obviously also cold. (That would have been okay for lunch perhaps!) Most overseas guests, including us gave it a miss. The Restaurant is also quite small in capacity and guests are permitted in batches of about 25 people at a time, to sit down for breakfast. So if you are late, you have to join the queue and wait patiently or give it a miss if you are in a hurry to depart somewhere. As such, on this issue, there is certainly room for improvement for the hotel. But apart from this, Ilfiore is a beautiful, comfortable hotel in Tokyo as mentioned. The staff are also very polite, courteous & helpful. Il fiore means -- the Flower! Well, we were fortunate to witness some the Cherry Blossom during our stay in Japan! Location: Near to Shinagawa Station which link to most of the place you will visit as a tourist. Cleanliness: the room is clean, not feeling any uncomfortable. Service: We reached the hotel around 1pm, although the check in time is 3pm, the reception staff willing to help us to check in earlier without our request which surprise us. Facilities: we do not have time to try their facilities, but in room facilities is well maintained. View: I forgot which floor we stayed, but the view is awesome, before we checked out we can see the Mt. Fuji which is superb.

The room is enough to open your large luggage but very small and the part I didn’t like the most is the bedding and duvet, they do not use any duvet covers just a sheet to put in between the duvet and you, I can imaging how many people been touched that duvet . Not comfortable with that. Must book the main tower or north tower it will worth the price.
