What a Memorable Stay at Shibuya Excel Hotel Tokyu I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Shibuya Excel Hotel Tokyu during my visit to Tokyo on August 25, 2023, and I must say that it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I stepped foot in the hotel until the time of my departure, everything was simply exceptional. First and foremost, the location of the hotel is unbeatable. Situated in the heart of Shibuya, one of Tokyo's most vibrant and energetic neighborhoods, it offers unparalleled convenience. The hotel is just a stone's throw away from Shibuya Crossing and the bustling Shibuya Station, making it the perfect base for exploring the city. I found myself immersed in the vibrant a**osphere and surrounded by countless dining, shopping, and entertainment options. The staff at Shibuya Excel Hotel Tokyu are deserving of special mention. From the warm welcome at check-in to the attentive service throughout my stay, they went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction. They were always available to answer any questions, provide recommendations, and assist with any requests I had. Their professionalism and genuine friendliness truly made me feel like a valued guest. The room I stayed in was elegantly decorated and impeccably clean. The comfortable bed, along with the well-appointed amenities, made for a restful and enjoyable stay. The room offered stunning views of the city, allowing me to witness the vibrant Shibuya skyline both day and night. One of the highlights of my stay was the dining experience at the hotel's restaurants. The breakfast buffet was a delightful spread of both local and international dishes, catering to all tastes. The quality and variety of food exceeded my expectations, and the attentive staff ensured that I had everything I needed to start my day on a high note. Lastly, the hotel's facilities were excellent. Great hotel in central location. Rooms are big and comfortable for Tokyo standard and it’s a short walk to central shibuya crossing and JR line. Hotel breakfast was good and service by staff were very friendly. Big plus for those who are planning to ride a airport bus, the hotel is a stop for drop off and pick up.

It is my 2nd time in this hotel. First stay was back in 2020 and our family chose this hotel this time in 2023 because it's so dang perfect. The rooms are not tiny as how other Japan hotels are. We booked a room for 3pax and each of us had 1 single bed each. The toilet has a tub as well and staff are cleaning the room every single day, replacing all toiletries as well. The location is just near the shibuya crossing, about 500m walk (up hill) but it's just super near the mega donki. The hotel reception also allows guests to leave their luggage in the lobby even after check out which saves you a lot from having to rent coin lockers. I would definitely stay here again next time!

First time staying in a capsule hotel and surprised on how good they are for a Solo traveler. They are great with everything you need shared toilets and showers, lockers downstairs. The capsule is clean and tidy. Cheap stay and walking distance to Tokyo Tower and Roppongi party area also the train station is just around the corner. I'll be staying there again. Thank you :)

The room was not totally cleaned up. During our 5 nights stay, there were 2 days that complimentary water was not given. The reception is at the 15th floor and we had to carry all our luggages up then bring it down to the lower floora where the guest rooms were. Overall, it was still a very pleasant stay

This place is fantastic. It’s extremely clean and looks luxury. The bed was super comfortable, I did not feel claustrophobic at all because the area you get is pretty big with a big bed and a high ceiling so you don’t feel you are in a capsule hotel. They have a very nice work room and also a lounge. The staff were fantastic and helpful. The location is central. when I travel I usually stay at four or five star hotels, but during the cherry Blossom season all the luxury hotels were sold out or they were ridiculously expensive like three or four times the regular price. This is the first time I stayed in a castle hotel, and it just did not felt like being in a hustle because it was so luxury and clean . It’s five minutes walking to the station. I stay three nights in the Shibuya and 4 in Kyoto location and they both were amazing. I will consider staying here again whenever I visit Japan .

Room was small but it’s expected in Tokyo hotels. Free toiletries, tea and coffee that can get in the lobby of the hotel. Breakfast was ok. No daily room cleaning but it can be requested but not suggested, cleaning will be on the 3rd day of the stay and it’s upon request. Location was excellent the subway was literally an elevator away from the hotel and very close to Shibuya crossing.

There is 2 station Shinjuku-sanchome 12mins walk uneven path with down and uphill, hitachi-shinjuku 10mins walk road wasn’t that great either , JR station 15mins walk , no recommend if u have big luggage , hotel room stated 17-18sqm but I doubt so probably 13-14 only. Can’t even open my big luggage and yet we have 2 big and 2 small. Noisy area as is nearby kabuchiko. The only good bout this place is where there are many drug store and is much cheaper than other places

My friends and I had a great stay at the wise owl hostel. Not the first, we booked a private room, it was just what you expected, not too far walking to Shibuya or ikejiri station, staff were friendly and helpful. Would book it again in the future.
