Excellent location in Shinjuku, right opposite the Tokyo Metropolitan Building, where you can go up to the observatories for free and get great views. The hotel itself is quite old now but it’s been refurbished. Lots of rooms so it’s quite busy, but there are staff everywhere to help you. Good value if you can book early enough and get a decent rate.

We chose this hotel for its convenient location and the view of the room. Right in Kabukicho Shinjuku, we found many shops and restaurants easily. There is a convenient store right in the opposite side of hotel entrance. We could see the popular Godzilla from the window of our hotel room. The room is small and the price was a bit high during our stay, but you got almost everything you need in this tiny room. The room spray offered is a good idea after having yakiniku!

Getting there Getting to the hotel from narita airport, you can take the keisei skyliner to change at Nippori at the Yamamote line to change and stop at Takanobaba and change to another train Seibu Shinjuku station. It will be a few minutes walk to the hotel from there. Very convenient. To go back to the airport, book yourself an express bus directly at the lobby entrance (QR code is there) with a screen on the departure timing to various airports so you don’t have to lug your luggage. Stay Luxurious hotel right smack in the middle of all the action, eateries, shopping, etc. I stayed for 7 nights at the premier suite which I believe had one of the best views around this area. Room is spacious for Japanese standards. And the 2 toilets and 2 bath is something we really appreciate. Amenities are all given, and you have everything in the room, including a Marshall Bluetooth speaker. Staff are friendly and eager to help during check in etc. I did not have much chance to interact with them since I also did not book one with breakfast. One tip is the enter the hotel through Starbucks directly downstairs, instead of going one round to enter the lobby. Just cut through Starbucks and go down the stairs immediately and make a left turn to the lobby. Afterthoughts Good and new hotel in an excellent location. Some things will need to be improved, out of the 7 nights, I only request for rooms to be cleared twice. The first time, housekeeping forgot to refill my towels after removing them, forgot to refill our drinking waters and even left a dirty tshirt in my toilet that don’t belong to me. I believe that could be used by them to clean the toilet, else no reasons someone’s dirty tshirt is found and left in my toilet. Should have definitely used a cleaner rag to clean up the toilet. I did not crate a fuss about it but just took the tshirt out of the room since it is a new hotel that just opened for one week and all staff are new too. But this should not happen next time again, especially since this is a suite booking. P/S check out Ichiran 3 mins walk away and the 24 hours Don Quixote too.

Great value for money in a good location near everywhere in Tokyo. The English-speaking staff provided great service and always greeted me with a smile. Remember you are booking a budget hotel and with that these are the amenities included: -Sanitation stations -Bath and sauna amenities available (I'm not sure for female patrons) -Lockers that fit hand carry luggage provided -Luggage check-in (can be made more secure/organized) -Smoking area -Vending machines for food and snacks -Near restaurants and convenience stores (so you can always eat out) -Your capsule beddings will be clean and organized (if you're accustomed to sleeping with an aircon, you'll be sensitive to the capsule's controlled temperature) I only stayed for a night to try the experience. I hope they get more foreign customers through this review.

One of the dropoff hotel for the orange airport limousine bus. Note that its the last stop. First stop is Shinjuku Station. So of you don't want to wait and don't mind walking just a little, you can actually stop at Shinjuku Station as it takes another almost 20-30mins to route to the hotel even though its so near. I proceeded to one of the checkin counters and the front desk staff asked for my passport. She returned me my passport after checking my booking and confirming it. Then she brought me to another counter who asked for my passport again. He too checked my booking and confirmed it. Then brought me to the auto check in machine and guide me to check in which is quite easy. Right from the start the staffs should have just direct me to the machine instead of manually confirming my booking twice. I just find it abit unnecessary 😅 Crazy selection of self service amenities available right beside the lift. Room was clean but crazily small. My 6feet tall husband looks so out of place in the room and so in the way. 😂 Good thing was the bed is high enough to even put my thick luggage underneath. Excellent idea. 👍 TV has netflix and youtube. 3-4mins walk to the nearest exit from Shinjuku Station.

What a Memorable Stay at Shibuya Excel Hotel Tokyu I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Shibuya Excel Hotel Tokyu during my visit to Tokyo on August 25, 2023, and I must say that it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I stepped foot in the hotel until the time of my departure, everything was simply exceptional. First and foremost, the location of the hotel is unbeatable. Situated in the heart of Shibuya, one of Tokyo's most vibrant and energetic neighborhoods, it offers unparalleled convenience. The hotel is just a stone's throw away from Shibuya Crossing and the bustling Shibuya Station, making it the perfect base for exploring the city. The room offered stunning views of the city, allowing me to witness the vibrant Shibuya skyline both day and night. One of the highlights of my stay was the dining experience at the hotel's restaurants. The breakfast buffet was a delightful spread of both local and international dishes, catering to all tastes. The quality and variety of food exceeded my expectations, and the attentive staff ensured that I had everything I needed to start my day on a high note. Lastly, the hotel's facilities were excellent. The fitness center was well-equipped, allowing me to maintain my workout routine even while traveling. Tokyo | Can you believe it, this room has not been renovated in 16 years! Completely conquered by the elegance and foresight of The Peninsula Hotel! Staying at The Peninsula Tokyo, I was amazed twice in a short period of time. - After stepping into the lobby, the crystal lighting on the top and the front The ”eye” artwork echoes with the marble floor Projected into a good-looking symmetrical perspective, it is also often seen in hotels Photos on major social platforms, here is also afternoon tea And the restaurant where breakfast is served. Local designer Yukio Hashimoto chose earth tones, wood, and lacquerware Mixed with marble, the design is very forward-looking, and the maintenance of the guest rooms is outstanding. This year marks the sixteenth year the hotel has opened Years, but the guest rooms have been extensively renovated from the end, and only part of them have been done Hardware replacement and repair, such as the addition of wireless charging devices at the head of the bed. The hotel is currently still the second largest in the whole of Tokyo with basic rooms Luxury hotel (54 square meters). Although the equipment in the guest room such as TV and safe is old, the feeling of use is still comfortable, especially the bedding, which is not pure white linen, but beige is very soft, and the bedding is particularly well received.

Hotel opened less than a year ago. Everything is new and the design is very modern. Location is in the middle of Shinjuku so it was close to everything. The hotel staff was very attentive and the connection between the lobby (on the 18th floor) to the concierge in the ground floor was always in sync. Breakfast at the main hotel had a great view for a nice clear day but selection is limited. They have a second buffet in their neighbour hotel (17th floor) that has more selection. I would not really recommend this hotel for younger kids due to its design but overall great hotel.

This Capsule Hotel is greatly situated in the heart of Shinjuku, right next to the Shinjuku Station. The staff is wonderful and helpful in every possible way. The amenities and the onsen are excellent. With free drinks 24/7, masssage chairs, rice and miso soup all day long, this is a small piece of heaven on earth. Just bear in mind that using ear plugs for some snoring neighbours might be helpful, but even that, the hotel takes into account and offers ear plugs for free.

A reasonably priced hotel in Shinjuku about 15-20 minutes walk from the Shinjuku Train Station. You can get to this train station via the Narita Express on your way from or to the Narita airport. It is difficult to find the first time, basically use the East Exit and head North from the Shinjuku Train Station. You need to walk around the Cinema complex (use the West side as the East side is a tad more seedy at night). The staff were very helpful and polite. They helped with maps and suggestions of places/areas to visit. The twin room we had (Room 1004 on the 10th floor) had a view and the biggest shower/bath room that I have ever seen in Japan. The room had a bright neon pink sign ”Never ending journey” in the room on the wall for some reason (it can be turned off but just well...so Japan). The room was clean, modern and though relatively small was nice and comfortable. The hotel in general looked quite new. The hotel is close to the Shinjuku neon night life which has to be seen to be believed (walk back towards the station). So many bright neon signs and young people around enjoying themselves. The area of Shinjuku takes on a different life at night. You can walk to the Golden Gai area (full of small bars) which is apparently an attraction. We saw the area during the day when mostly everything was closed (there are lots of CCTV cameras and warnings about not fighting).
