Hotels near Sangubashi Station, Tokyo

I really loved this hotel. It was a stones throw away from the Shinjuku train station. The room, although very small was very comfortable and cosy. I'd recommend getting breakfast from the top floor. The food was delicious and a great start to the day, also the view from the top floor would just motivate you to go out and get ready to explore. When I am back in Tokyo I will be staying in this hotel again

As always, it is located in Shinjuku Business Center, which is very convenient to get in and out. The airport bus is directly accessible. It is 10 minutes walk from Shinjuku Nankou Station and only 10 minutes from the Xikou Business District. If you shop, Takashimaya, Odakyu, RUMINE, King Jing, YOTOBASIHICAMERA, etc. There are many restaurants around.

We stayed 2 nights in Hotel Sunroute Plaza Shinjuku and checked out & left our bigger luggages at the hotel conceige as we would like to travel light to other city to visit our friend (staying in Japan) for 2 nights. We came back to stay again with Hotel Sunroute Plaza Shinjuku after the short trip. There are also storages at Subway/train station with fee charges apply to store your luggage according to the sizes and storage duration. Photos (for your reference only) provided are the storage with fee charges located opposite road of Keio Department Store at Shinjuku station.

Staff is polite and check in was a breeze. The room is small as expected as its a room for one person. The fridge does not have capacity to make ice, only for cooling. There is a microwave for common use on the 5th flr. The breakfast is super simple and light. Only soup, pastries, coffee, apple juice, small hamburger for meat, cabbage salad. Not much of choice.

There is also 2 in 1 washing machine with dryer at L18 at the south tower for usage starting from 500yen, depending on what the features you would like it to be, best of all, it comes with detergent. I rated average for cleanliness was because it was dirty, but the tatami straws seems to be falling into pieces. Everything your cloths dropped unto the floor, the fabric would pick up some pieces or dust balls. Staffs are kind and friendly. But take note that you will be locked out from 12 midnight to 6am every night. Room is definitely spacious. Good for family. Yoyogi station at doorstep. Macdonald next door. Tully coffee 2 doors away. National Botanic Garden 15mins away by wall. Takashimaya 15mins away. If you get a good price, its worth a stay. Breakfast was fairly basic; bread, butter, hard boiled egg, jelly yogurt, typical Japanese black coffee.

Very conveniently located nearby the subway started Akebonobashi (green line) which is just 15-30 mins distance from Shibuya, Tokyo Station, Akihabara Electric Town, Take****a street, Asakusa, etc. just bringn your own water as they can provide tap water or bottled water if you forfeit room service!

Room was just enough for two suitcases. The view from the terrace was great. Easy to get around with just few stations to the Tokyo central area. The nearby area was quite not as crowded as other Tokyo central area. The hotel is more than welcome to help us store the luggage even we away for whole day.

Hotel is not difficult to find but it’s not near train station. The area here is a bit messy with tons of human traffic like tourists and locals. I don’t like the environment here as the crowd at night here seems a bit rowdy with many locals round n old here looking for drinks and entertainment. Early in the morning, like 7am, you will see drunk people stumbling out of clubs, vomiting and even pee on the streets! Yes it’s that messy. Overall I won’t stay here again. Too crowded but young people may like the place for its variety of food n drinks places. Hotel staff is friendly n room is decent size not too small.

It is one of the most convenient budget hotels to stay in, especially for solo travelers. Sleeping pod is comfy and cosy. The luggage compartment is spacious enough to put an extra large one. It is near many restaurants, mainstream or hole-in-the-wall types. It is near two major train stations that leads you to Shibuya, Harajuku, Ebisu, and such. There is also a bus stop nearby that leads you to Shibuya crossing. The hotel is very clean and neat. Minimalist design. Also, friendly staff. Can speak English. They also provide breakfast, which doesn’t cost much and food is filling. Just enough to get you going for the day.
