JR-EAST HOTEL METS SHIBUYA

Shibuya Tokyo|0.79km from Samurai Armor Photo Studio
Me and my boyfriend shared a superior single room at this hotel in June 2019, it was small (as you would expect from a Japanese hotel room) but with 2 big cases I was actually really pleasantly surprised with the space, neither of us felt suffocated. We were there during all the crazy construction, and we barely found it to be an issue at all. No noise, and little inconvenience. The hotel is surprisingly easy to find, and im terrible with instructions! The location is 100% the best part of this hotel. It was a piece of cake getting around Tokyo, easy access to Shinjuku/harajuku/akihabara, (odaiba is a little out the way, but not too difficult!). Lawson across the street, lots of restaurants, really close walking distance to Shibuya crossing and all its shops. Prior to arrival, I had my cases shipped from Tokyo disney resort to this hotel, and one of them was missing. The service regarding this was great, the check in desk rang up the delivery service for me (Yamato?) and figured out the situation. Within a an hour or two, I got a call to my room and they informed me that the luggage had been sent to the wrong area, but they were now delivering it to mets. What a relief! Do not worry about any language barriers, the staff are great. Another great thing about this hotel is the free smartphone they allow you to take out around the city with you! Having this was incredibly helpful for google maps etc. Cannot fault our stay at all, and I would stay again during my next trip.

Shibuya Hotel En

Shibuya
We stayed in the EN about a year ago and thus can't comment to much on any Corona related precautionary measures, as it wasn't relevant then. Still they probably would be ideally prepared, as Japanese are usually are. We enjoyed our stay there a lot, mainly due to the perfect hub it represented to exploring Tokyo as first-time visitors. It is perfectly located between the busy and quieter parts of Shibuya and we would recommend it a lot. Of course we have been to nicer rooms, but it was perfectly fine and reasonably priced considering its prime location in of the world's most populous and expensive cities.

Meguro was in the list in our Japan Travel and we decided to stay in this hotel it was affordable and very accessible to popular tourist destinations in the area. The hotel was simple yet clean and you could feel that ”warmth” as you enter. The wifi access was good and the good thing about this hotel, it's got a convenience store where you can buy anything you need while you stay there. The staff were very helpful. All in all it was a delightful stay in this hotel.

Shibuya
It is located at the end of dogenzaka and is a little far from the hustle and bustle of Shibuya, but there are many fashionable restaurants and quiet and good. Even if there is a request for cooperation with the mambo immediately after the cancellation of the preface, there is a drinker in the vicinity of Shibuya who is doing it to the morning, and it is not possible to become a convenience store rice even if the end of the work is slow. There are microwave ovens and washing machines (detergents) in the room, and there is a monthly condominium convenience. It is hard because it has to go to the completion when washing in the laundry though it moves around the country. It is very good to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be Free coffee next to the front desk is also delicious for convenience stores, so unlike muddy water coffee like Toyoko Inn, if you buy dessert at the supermarket opposite or nearby convenience stores, you will go in the middle of the night .
Turn Table

Shibuya
The Turn Table Hostel is a friendly hostel that provides dorms, share-bedrooms and single bedrooms. As a frequent traveller to Tokyo, I am fond of Shibuya because of its diverse range of activities, from shopping to dining, from exploring the city’s history to witnessing its continuous evolution. Turn Table Hostel is a lovely, cozy hostel that offers adequate facilities for travellers. During my stay at the Hostel, I chose a single bedroom with an individual bathroom. What surprises me the most is the food quality at the hostel’s restaurant - Turn Table Restaurant, on Level 1. Each traveller is eligible to taste either three kinds of sashimi OR Awa vegetable tempura for free if you want to dine inside the hostel restaurant. I chose vegetable tempura, of which the quality is good with decent presentation. I also ordered the sashimi seafood rice bento and a glass of red sangria for my dinner. Overall, the dinner was lovely, and the staff can generally speak good English.

Personal tour is very convenient. Don’t book in advance. Usually it is 300-400 expensive on weekends, usually 300 yuan, you can’t talk at night when you go in, a bit like a small bathing center, very clean,

The beds, toilets and showers were very clean. However, I could not sleep well as the room was too hot in winter. Woke up sweating a few times and had difficulty falling asleep again. The slightly noisy fan did not help. There is no place to have a meal indoors, altho the roof terrace is great when it isn't raining. Coffee shop is too pricey so I didn't try it. Service staff were friendly and helpful. Guests should try not to talk in the dormitory after 10pm.
