Hotels Near Nabeshima＇s tomb in Tokyo

First of all, the service is very superb. I don’t have to go downstairs to ask for Iron or hair iron, just call reception and they will ask housekeeper to bring to our room in a few minutes. I like how they have a board for iron unlike other hotels that I need to think where to iron clothes. The location is very good. It’s walking distance from Shinjuku station and near Godzilla hotel. If you’re lucky, you’ll get the room with Godzilla view. The hotel is quite big than other hotels that I booked. However, there’s no laundry machine service and they only have laundry service, but it’s quite pricey. The room is small, but it’s okay. The hotel is quite old and unfortunately I smell something weird unpleasant in the bathroom. Even if they clean everyday, but the smell isn’t go anywhere. I guess it’s because it’s old hotel and they use some chemicals?

Getting there Getting to the hotel from narita airport, you can take the keisei skyliner to change at Nippori at the Yamamote line to change and stop at Takanobaba and change to another train Seibu Shinjuku station. It will be a few minutes walk to the hotel from there. Very convenient. To go back to the airport, book yourself an express bus directly at the lobby entrance (QR code is there) with a screen on the departure timing to various airports so you don’t have to lug your luggage. Stay Luxurious hotel right smack in the middle of all the action, eateries, shopping, etc. I stayed for 7 nights at the premier suite which I believe had one of the best views around this area. Room is spacious for Japanese standards. And the 2 toilets and 2 bath is something we really appreciate. Amenities are all given, and you have everything in the room, including a Marshall Bluetooth speaker. Staff are friendly and eager to help during check in etc. I did not have much chance to interact with them since I also did not book one with breakfast. One tip is the enter the hotel through Starbucks directly downstairs, instead of going one round to enter the lobby. Just cut through Starbucks and go down the stairs immediately and make a left turn to the lobby. Afterthoughts Good and new hotel in an excellent location. Some things will need to be improved, out of the 7 nights, I only request for rooms to be cleared twice. The first time, housekeeping forgot to refill my towels after removing them, forgot to refill our drinking waters and even left a dirty tshirt in my toilet that don’t belong to me. I believe that could be used by them to clean the toilet, else no reasons someone’s dirty tshirt is found and left in my toilet. Should have definitely used a cleaner rag to clean up the toilet. I did not crate a fuss about it but just took the tshirt out of the room since it is a new hotel that just opened for one week and all staff are new too. But this should not happen next time again, especially since this is a suite booking. P/S check out Ichiran 3 mins walk away and the 24 hours Don Quixote too.

This is our 2nd time staying in the Hotel Sunroute Plaza Shinjuku, we chosen due to the location. Overall we're very satisfied, the staff at the frontdesk very helpfull, but little bit dissapointed with the restaurant staff during breakfast. It is said the breakfast time until 10am, on the 3rd day we check in for breakfast at 09.45 am but they've already closed. Actually the previous day, I also saw the waiters talking very rude to the customer when asking about payment although the customer has explained that they have paid. Need more customer service training for people at the restaurant.

5-7 mins walk from the nearest train station. noise level in my room was very low, almost silent, despite being adjacent to a busy street. coin laundry (2 washers and 2 dryers available) works great as expected and you can purchase individual detergent packs from the front desk (if i remember correctly: 500yen per wash, 100yen per 30 mins dryer, 50yen for a detergent pack)

not recommended for family, area nearby Kabukicho. Room was smaller than expected, bed is comfy, some staff very helpful but some very strong when you asking they something. 7-10mins walk to station.

Hotel opened less than a year ago. Everything is new and the design is very modern. Location is in the middle of Shinjuku so it was close to everything. The hotel staff was very attentive and the connection between the lobby (on the 18th floor) to the concierge in the ground floor was always in sync. Breakfast at the main hotel had a great view for a nice clear day but selection is limited. They have a second buffet in their neighbour hotel (17th floor) that has more selection. I would not really recommend this hotel for younger kids due to its design but overall great hotel.

Great hotel, convenient location. Staff are super friendly and speak English. Two options for breakfast, Japanese style or buffet. There is a Lawson in the hotel. You can send your bag to the next hotel and charge it to your room.

The location is incredibly convenient, with major tourist attractions like Sensoji Temple, Nakamise Street, and Kamiranimon nearby. Train stations (Ginza & Asakusa Lines), restaurants, and shopping centers (Don Quijote, ROX) are all within reach. The hotel service was good as our room was impeccably cleaned, towels and pajamas replaced daily, and water bottles replenished. Smooth check-in and check-out made it a great experience for our family at Richmond Asakusa!

If you arrive in the morning, you can leave your luggage for safekeeping at the reception. Check-in in Japan is possible after 3pm, neat room (room 615) (simple but equipped with all comforts), good bed with various pillows, and a standard shower cabin that is fine. Helpful staff. Breakfast is included and you can choose in advance which set you want and at what time. The hotel is located one block from the main street, which has the great advantage of being quieter. Nearby are several restaurants and kombini shops. Within walking distance of the train station, and close to the beautiful Ueno park (with museum etc) and the well known Akihabara district. On a next visit, I would definitely come back here. A good value for money.

The hotel is near the metro station and very easy to go around. The bed and pillow could be a little more soft. The room is bright and clean. Breakfast os delicious with large variety of asian and western food
