OMO3 Asakusa by Hoshino Resorts

Ueno/Asakusa Tokyo|0.78km from Mimeguri Shrine
Let’s talk about it first…. The hotel just opened last year and the facilities are very new and clean. The location is very good, very close to Kaminariji Temple, and there are many restaurants nearby. The transportation is convenient, and there are less people at night. If you like a quieter night, it is very suitable. Moreover, I personally think the hotel mattresses are more comfortable than those in other hotels! but, If you want to book a large bed, you really need to look carefully. We, two adults, booked a double bed room. We didn't look carefully when booking, thinking it was a room with two mattresses (you can check the pictures on the official website). Two days before my departure to Japan, I took a closer look and found out that the bed in the room was a bunk bed with two floors. There was no mattress on the upper floor, but a wooden board (the concept of letting guests sit on the upper floor?). I tried to contact trip.con customer service, but the result was There was no room available for me to change, so I was asked to contact the Japanese hotel myself. In the end, the Japanese hotel had no way to help me change the room because I checked in automatically. We stayed for 4 nights and never went up there. We could only use it to store some clothes and coats. As for getting out of bed on one side (!), getting in and out of the bed is a bit troublesome. Moreover, because it is a bunk bed, basically half of the scenery outside the window is blocked, which feels a bit wasteful, because the scenery outside the window can see the temple, which is a very good scenery! Summarize, The above mistakes were caused by individuals not paying attention and have nothing to do with the hotel. I write such a long article just to share with other travelers coming to Tokyo that they should pay attention when booking this hotel. Because when traveling to Tokyo, everyone must be tired from shopping/shopping every day and go back to the hotel. If you go back to a comfortable hotel, you will be in a better mood! And I believe that the twin rooms in this hotel must be more beautiful and comfortable! (Official website picture) I paid HK$5391 for 4 nights this time. You can judge for yourself whether it is worth it!

Facilities: The software and hardware are good. There is room-specific WiFi information on the TV. Although the room is not big, it is equipped with smart toilet, bathtub, refrigerator, ice bucket, and hot water kettle, which is very convenient. You don’t need to prepare your own toiletries. Women’s makeup remover cotton, cotton swabs, cleansing oil, facial cleanser, and lotion can be picked up in the 5F lobby. They are all in independent small bags in travel size. They are hygienic and convenient. The brands are also good, including Sekkisei and Paula. Brands; men's razors and shaving cream are also available; as well as various types of bath salts, children's slippers, and toothpaste, the hotel provides them. Another special mention is that the hotel does not provide pajamas, but cotton pajamas. You can change into seat clothes directly after playing, which is very comfortable and saves you having to bring your own pajamas. Hygiene: Overall it's pretty good, except that the bathroom may have a bit of a smell occasionally due to poor ventilation, but it's acceptable. Environment: The hotel has a good environment inside and outside. It is quiet in the bustle. Opposite is the Sky Tree and a large shopping mall. It is convenient for eating and shopping. We must check in at the supermarket downstairs of the hotel every day when we come back. Milk, beer, and water are cheaper than convenience stores. Transportation: For those who travel, this location is very convenient. There are three subway stations just across the street from downstairs. There is a direct railway to Narita Airport, and the total journey is 1 hour and 7 minutes. It is very, very close to Ueno and Asakusa. If you want to go to other attractions, you can transfer It is also very convenient to go directly by bus. Especially for tourists with Disney itineraries, there is a bus stop behind the Sky Tree just 5 minutes' walk downstairs from the hotel. It takes 1 hour to go directly to Disney. The bus is very clean and provides wifi, restrooms, and USB chargers.

Prostyle Ryokan Tokyo Asakusa

Ueno/Asakusa
The prostyle ryokan is located just outside Of the heart of Asakusa on a busy road. The noise of the road cannot be heard at all inside the ryokan. It’s a short walk to the center of Asakusa and the temple. There are many great restaurants nearby. The hotel has a shabu shabu restaurant. The ryokan is clean, people at the reception are very helpful. The rooms are clean, spacious by Tokyo standards and the beds quite comfortable. We had a room with a private shower and a separate bath tub outside, very nice to soak in the early morning (when it’s not to hot yet). There was also a balcony with chairs and a table —but temperatures didn’t allow us to use it. The room is wel appointed and has everything you need. It has a clean but traditional Japanese atmosphere. The Japanese breakfast is fantastic and highly recommended, wel worth the money.

We stay 6 nights in this hotel and travelling with child. The location is good, quiet near Sumida Park and Tokyo Sky Tree. Not far away from convenient store and Subway Station. Walk to Oshiage Station and Tokyo Sty Tree is around 10 minutes and convenient store (7 Eleven) around 5 minutes. If you prefer a quiet place to stay this hotel is recommend. The room small but have a full facilities, microwave, washing machine, electric boiler and the room have bathtub, bathroom very clean. However in the bedroom they provided us a futon as no bed available. Piyawadee Kheawsanarm.
Asakusa Skytree Oshiage Hotel

This hotel is very close to Sensoji Temple and Skytree, and there is a 711 convenience store within 150 meters. The hotel facilities are relatively new and complete. There is a part-time clerk reception downstairs. It is very friendly and caring. It is raining outside. We specially found a small umbrella for children. Every day from 11 pm to 23 pm, a clerk is on duty. You can also check in by yourself. If you want to eat, you can go to the street near APA hotel to eat more. It is recommended to get off at Shinagawa Station in Tokyo by Shinkansen, which is relatively close to the hotel.

The cleanliness, service, and customer service were amazing! ! We stayed with 4 women, and the room was very spacious and reasonably priced. Convenience store is also nearby which is good! The bathroom, bed, and shelves were Japanese-style and extremely beautiful. There are plenty of amenities, and the hair dryer has good performance. We also have Japanese-style amenities such as tabi socks, so it's also recommended for foreigners! Above all, the staff was very kind and I felt very comfortable staying there!

The hotel is very close to the Sky Tree (Sky Tree), 5 minutes away. There is the Sky Tree Mall, where there are many food and shopping spots. The mall closes at 9 o'clock, but in the middle of the night, there are Family Mart and Lawson nearby, and Matsuya more than 23:00. You can also eat, and there is a sushi restaurant on the 6th floor of the mall, which is very popular. There is Oshiage subway station in the mall. It is also convenient to go to the airport. It is also close to Sumida Park. The hotel is like a homestay type. Among the various houses, there is one. The white light is recognizable on the wall. From morning to night, the surrounding residents were very quiet, and they didn't hear any voices. It was the garbage truck that picked up the garbage in the morning and saw some residents sort the garbage. The hotel does not have a front desk, so you can only find the landlord by phone. The hotel has only 4 floors and the room area is small, but the facilities are super complete, with a kitchen, a shower room and a toilet, preferably a washing machine, the hotel also prepares laundry detergent, and a retractable drying rack , There are refrigerators and microwaves. Stayed for 3 nights and it felt like home.
