Hotels in Shinjuku Area, Tokyo

The location is good. It is easy to find it from the train station. It takes 1 hour and 20 mins from Narita Airport to the hotel. Shinjuku train station is very convenient to go everywhere ! Meiji Jingu Shrine，Shibuya，all walking distance, family mart, 7-11, Food Street are nearby ! Also, shopping mall, Donki is on the other side of the train station! The room has luggage space. But the cleaning is not good，Breadcrumbs have still been on the carpet for a few days.

A few minutes from Shinjuku Station East Exit, you can’t miss it from hundreds of metres away, it’s the building with Godzilla’s head sticking out 50 m above the ground. Lots of restaurants on the ground floor, convenience stores, and in the middle of Kabukicho, literally open 24 hours. Cafe and some Godzilla souvenirs on the 8th floor lobby level, where you can get close up and personal with the star attraction himself. The rooms are fine, nice sized bath, but you need to close the blind at night to shut out the light pollution.

The room was quite spacious, and we found our 4-night stay very comfortable. The bed was also comfortable, not one of those overly soft types. The location was excellent, with FamilyMart and 7-Eleven stores conveniently located nearby. In fact, there's a 7-Eleven right on the ground floor of the hotel – it couldn't be more convenient! The hotel is very close to the subway station. You can easily walk to Shinjuku to catch a train, or take one from Tochomae Station. The hotel had quite a few international guests, and we were pleased to find a Chinese-speaking staff member at the front desk. The daily housekeeping was excellent, ensuring a very clean, pleasant, and comfortable stay.

Hotel was very well located close to Shinjuku Station. Check in using their automated system was very easy. Rooms and amenities all provided very well - but it seems like there's an issue with moisture in the room. There was a very slight musty smell that disappeared as the air conditioning turned on. Otherwise, everything was very well thought out and overall I had a pleasant stay. The airport limousine bus also stops directly at this hotel which further adds to the convenience!

Absolutely loved our stay here! Perfect location right in the heart of Shinjuku — close to the train station, food, and all the buzz of Tokyo, but still quiet and comfortable when we needed to unwind. The room was spotless, the service was kind, and the city views were such a treat. Thank you for making our Tokyo trip even more special!

This is a self-check-in hotel. The initial check-in process was quite annoying; I wasted a lot of time inputting what seemed like excessive and disorganized information, only to be told by staff afterwards that much of it was unnecessary. On a positive note, guests pick up their own toiletries upon check-in, and there's a good variety available. The location is also good and very convenient. It was a decent stay for one night.

Located in the heart of Kabukicho, the hotel is approximately a 10-minute walk from JR Shinjuku Station and about 5 minutes from Higashi-Shinjuku Subway Station. This prime location provides guests with easy access to Shinjuku’s bustling nightlife, shopping centers, and entertainment venues. While Kabukicho is known as a lively nightlife area, the hotel’s proximity allows guests to experience Tokyo’s dynamic energy firsthand.

The hotel's location is excellent, right next to Shinjuku Kabukicho Ichibangai. It's just a stone's throw away from the bustling commercial district. However, I wouldn't recommend it for families with young children due to the relatively small room size. Aside from that, everything else was great and spotlessly clean. I really enjoyed my stay and found it perfect for business travelers and couples.

I stayed here for a few nights and overall had a good experience. The room looks exactly like the pictures shown was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the hotel itself felt safe and well-maintained. Staff were polite and quick to respond when I needed anything, which I appreciated. The location was a major plus close to shops, restaurants, and easy to get around. It’s a good, solid place to stay if you’re not expecting anything ultra luxurious. I’d definitely consider staying here again. Overall, a reliable option for a short trip.

We loved our stay in amongst the hustle and bustle of Shinjuku. The staff are efficient and friendly, assisted with every request and organised forwarding of luggage seamlessly. Rooms were very comfortable with the yummiest coffee bags I’ve encountered, and lying in bed seeing the sky and not a building is amazing in Tokyo. Very tall building, quick elevators and plenty of services including a self service laundry. Kids love Starbucks below, location wise it’s right next to the Hotel Gracery and Godzilla. An easy yes to we’d stay again. Thanks Hotel Groove!
