I recently stayed at the Hotel Gracery Ginza in Tokyo and had a delightful experience. I booked two rooms: a double and a triple. While the double room was indeed very small, this was the only drawback of an otherwise excellent stay. The rooms were reasonably clean and well-maintained. The hotel offers a cosy lounge in the lobby where guests can enjoy complimentary coffee, tea, and juice, which was a lovely touch. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with any queries or needs. Best of all, the hotel provides ice, warm and cold water, and vending machines on every floor, adding to the convenience and comfort of the stay. The location of the hotel is fantastic, being very well connected with many different train lines. All the train stations are within walking distance, making it incredibly convenient to explore Tokyo. Situated right in the middle of Ginza, the hotel is surrounded by a plethora of shopping options, from luxury brands to popular street brands and local favourites like Uniqlo, GU, and Muji. Don Don Donki, a popular store, is open until 4am, which is perfect for late-night shopping. Additionally, on weekends, the main road in Ginza is closed to vehicles, allowing pedestrians to enjoy a leisurely stroll. Overall, despite the small size of the double room, I highly recommend Hotel Gracery Ginza for its excellent location, friendly staff, and comfortable amenities. It made our stay in Tokyo truly enjoyable.

Quiet area which is really nice but a little far like shibuya (25-35 min subway). Right next to a subway stop which makes the travel time feel like nothing, clean rooms and a great view from the 14th floor. 10 min taxi to Tokyo station which is convent for taking the train to other parts of Japan. Some restaurants near bye but not too many. There was this one really good and cute ramen place nearby which was delicious but I don’t know the name sorry!

Great location and just mins from shopping street. They have connecting room and perfect for out family of four . Room is small but I think it’s like most city hotel here. Friendly and good front desk staff. Breakfast is Japanese style, like small dishes style. But I hope there d be some simple western option like eggs & toast . Best of all I think the rate is reasonable given its holiday seasons. Id stay here again .

The location is excellent. Just a block from Mitsukoshi/ subway and a block from Ginza Six. 13mins to tsuiiki market . Facilities and room is quite new. The room is spacious compared to Tokyo standard . However, as there’s no partition when you walk out from shower , so it’s less convenient if you’re travelling w friends . Also theres no bath tub in case anyone needs that . But I’d stay here again if I come

The room was clean but a bit on the smaller side, and some of the hotel facilities, like the shower head, seemed a bit outdated and weren't the most comfortable. Despite this, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Prince Hotel. The staff was attentive and friendly, always responding promptly. Honestly, if you're looking for a hotel with a great view of Tokyo Tower, this would be a fantastic option. However, if the view isn’t a priority, you might want to explore other hotels within the same price range.

The entrance to the hotel is at lobby level 1 but the reception is at level 27. Those who will travel to kyoto or Osaka. This hotel is just a walking distance to JR Shinkansen line. The subway or JR staff at the counter are able to communicate in English. The Green color suica card can be bought from the ticketing machine except the red color suica card for tourist (28days usage) only can be bought at airport. Restaurants and daimaru are in the JR building... Very convenient.

Dirty. Skin itches when you lie on their bed. Even after linen change. And yes they did not changed linen before our arrival, so first night was on a linen from previous guests. Air conditioner is in a bad condition, 24 and higher gives you humid air that causes windows to fog up. Dirty cheap hotel in good location.

Booked this for the convenience and that it was available last minute but would say it’s a bit pricey for what you get. Room is very small but we made it work with 2 big luggages. Washroom was spacious though 😂 The best part about the hotel was the onsen/ public bath which was super comfortable and relaxing (hot bath, cold plunge, sauna, showering stations) and you get free popisicles and yakult depending on what time you go. Free ramen on the first floor from 9:30-11pm too. Service was okay. Location was prime and walkable but a bit of a walk to any station. They do have scooter and e-bike rentals out front with the LUUP app. You can hear the train nearby but didn’t really bother us overnight.

But make up for it, the hotel's slippers and other things are still provided for one person. The location is okay. It's a relatively quiet place in the middle of the city. Booked 3 stays in my current Japan trip and this was one of the best stay I had! Location: Hotel Ryumeikan Tokyo, 1 Chome-3-22 Yaesu, Chuo City, Tokyo 103-0028 A 3-star hotel but a service like 5-star! Location: Conveniently located between several train station - Tokyo station, Nihombashi station and Mitsukoshimae Station - as well as the JR express bus station to places like Osaka and Mt. Fuji. Considering the multiple lines available, the exit out of the station can be confusing at first, but you'll just have to follow the sign. Here's some cheatsheet: 1. Exit A3 for Nihombashi station (use A4 if you have large suitcases) 2. North Yaesu (Nihombashi) exit for Toko station (it should be on right) 3. Exit B3 for Mitsukoshimae station (walk straight down 2 street - the easiest to find) There is so many shops nearby, you can even walk to Ginza in 10mins! Price and amenities The room was equipped with many goodies - from basic necessities like toiletries, bidet and drinking water; to extra items like facial products, pyjamas, bath salt, snacks, slippers and comb. The bed was very soft and comfy and I definitely had one of the best sleep in this Japan trip! The room was decent sized for solo travellers, there were plenty of sunlight and privacy. Check in and check out was easy and fast and they staffs were very friendly and helpful. Overall a great stay! Definitely give this place a try if you're visiting Tokyo for the first time!

It was also a walking distance from various food places at Akihabara and had a Family Mart below. Room itself was a little small but expected of Tokyo hotels. Great apartment hotel with small balcony, kitchenette, bath and shower room. The king bed is two doubles pushed together, but this is fine as the mattresses are comfortable and join together well. Location is great as it is close to the Azabu-juban station and also close to several pretty good restaurants. Very relaxing accommodation to end our Japan trip, we stayed for four nights.
