Tokyo Shinjuku Ward Hotels

The hotel is located within 10 minutes walk to Shinjuku Station. It’s so convenient to get the airport limousine bus from Narita airport, which stops right in front of the hotel. The family mart is right in the hotel building. However, I could not sleep well because of the sound of the metro running by every 10 seconds. The bed sheets are quite rough, not so soft.

A few minutes from Shinjuku Station East Exit, you can’t miss it from hundreds of metres away, it’s the building with Godzilla’s head sticking out 50 m above the ground. Lots of restaurants on the ground floor, convenience stores, and in the middle of Kabukicho, literally open 24 hours. Cafe and some Godzilla souvenirs on the 8th floor lobby level, where you can get close up and personal with the star attraction himself. The rooms are fine, nice sized bath, but you need to close the blind at night to shut out the light pollution.

Our stay at the Keio Plaza Hotel was excellent. The room was clean, modern, and had an amazing view of the Tokyo skyline. Its best feature was the location—it was incredibly easy to get everywhere from there. After busy days exploring, it was the perfect, comfortable place to come back to. We decided to extend our stay an extra week and the concierge helped us with an upgrade! We loved it.

A nice hotel, clean, hidden away in an alley but its in a great location, a few minutes walk from Shinjuku Sanchome Station which is great to get to areas like Akihabara etc, and also easy to get to Main shinjuku station for travel around country. Front desk very helpful, have luggage hold for both pre check in and check out day. Great place!

Service was great! Our original room had a weird smell that wouldn’t go away - reception staff promptly checked it out and moved us to a different room. Rooms are small but standard for Japan - we could open and pack 2 large suitcases (although quite tight). Location was good although we didn’t realise it was in the *** ***** ******** when booking.

I recently stayed at Vessel Inn Takadanobaba in Tokyo and had a pleasant experience. While it took a long journey from the airport to reach the hotel, the location made up for it as it was conveniently near Takadanobaba Station, providing easy access to different parts of Tokyo. The room was clean, well-maintained, and slightly more spacious than typical Tokyo hotels. The bed was comfortable, and amenities such as free drinks in the lounge and a well-equipped bathroom added to the comfort. One of the highlights was the convenience of having a OK Mart and several other convenience stores nearby, making it easy to grab snacks, drinks, or daily necessities. The area also had plenty of restaurants and local eateries, perfect for trying different Japanese dishes. The staff were polite and efficient, and check-in/check-out was smooth. Overall, Vessel Inn Takadanobaba is a great choice for travelers who want an accessible and comfortable stay, with plenty of conveniences nearby. Just be prepared for a longer commute from the airport.

Great location with a supermarket, shopping mall, and restaurants nearby. Convenient access to public transport, making it easy to reach Shinjuku and other key areas. Ideal for both shopping and dining, with everything you need within walking distance. A perfect base for exploring the city!

Wow! This place blew my mind. Perfect location, close to the metro/toei line. Very clean. Spacious bathroom and OK size of the room. Nice service. Very friendly. Will consider staying here again!

The E Hotel Higashi Shinjuku in Tokyo proved to be a fantastic choice for my recent stay! Its location couldn't be more convenient, being right next to the metro station made exploring Shinjuku and the rest of Tokyo incredibly easy. I was thoroughly impressed with the excellent room service – prompt and efficient. The information staff were also incredibly friendly and always ready to assist with any questions. The only minor drawback, and this is quite common in Tokyo, was the size of the room. It was on the smaller side, but it was impeccably clean, well-designed to maximize space, and perfectly adequate for my needs. Overall, the E Hotel Higashi Shinjuku's prime location, outstanding service, and friendly staff more than compensated for the compact room size. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a convenient and comfortable base in the heart of Shinjuku.
