Had a great stay at Bellevue with the scenic day/night view. A small garden and basic amenities with a standing fan and large bathroom. Large room accommodate 3 single bed with lots of room to walk or even do yoga/ exercise. Always wanted to stay here whenever I came to Penang Hill ❤️

What a wonderful hotel, booked for 2 nights and the stay was awesome. My son really enjoyed the pool. The room was so spacious, a king size bed and a single bed with alot of space leftover. This hotel and room has lots of antique furniture and pianos. Eventhough this hotel is brand new (completed in 2024) but it give out an old world charm, it's like living in a hotel from the 60s. I especially love the flooring, it's totally mesmerising. Parking was sufficient enough for my suv. There was even a coway water dispenser in the pantry. This hotel doesn't have a reception counter but it has a very unique key box check in system. I highly recommend it to everyone visiting Penang.

The newly renovated hotel is very nice. The receptionist outside will also help with the luggage. The handsome black Indian guy at the front desk can speak Chinese, which is great. He speaks standard Chinese. The service staff will also take the initiative to greet. There are food in front and behind the door. The hotel also has a restaurant, swimming pool, and gym. I forgot to take pictures when I checked in. When I remembered to take pictures, the luggage was a little messy. I still want to give a good review. There is a balcony behind the curtains in the room. You can see the sea. The passage next to the swimming pool is still under maintenance. There is a sign saying To beach, which should be able to go to the beach later. You can stay a few more days if you can go directly to the beach. If you can't catch up, come back later. Such a good hotel, it would be perfect if it has complete facilities.

The newly built hotel is pristine clean and comfy. Nonetheless the size of the room is quite compact, just nice for couples but if you have 1 or more child it would be quite packed. Water pressure is good! Parking is easy. Would definitely consider staying here again next trip.

The long and narrow room is divided into a bedroom and a tea room. The corridor in the middle is a small and independent toilet that is difficult to turn around. You can wash your hands in the bathroom. The only lighting is in the corridor. It is a very magical design. On the first day of check-in, there is a small cleaning staff. The guy who helped open the door and gave us the keys was an Indian guy who only spoke simple English. He asked us to contact the housekeeper through what's app if we had any questions. Except for this time, we never saw any hotel staff during the entire stay. I stayed in the service area of the building for a week, which is not a short period of time. There is no on-site staff service, and there is no immediate response when I encounter problems. In addition, I accidentally discovered that the price of the room I booked a month in advance was actually higher than that of the same period within a week. The difference in price is more than 100 RMB per night. Even if I book in advance, it is nearly 900 RMB more than the one I booked a few days ago. The price difference is nearly 1/3, which is staggering. Is the service downgraded, or is it a fattened sheep? Originally, the review was full of points, and I booked it in the hope that good accommodation would improve travel satisfaction. However, it turned out to be a point deduction, which is a pity!

The location is great. Especially if you are by car. The beach is 10-15 minutes away, and the center of Georgetown is also a short drive away. The apartment itself is not bad. The view is simply gorgeous. Cons - not a single room cleaning for 10 days (you can order it for an extra fee). There are no towels - we bought our own at the neighboring mr.diy. The ones they give out have stains and look more like car wash rags)) We saw a cockroach once. I read about the problem with the elevators, but in my opinion it is not critical. We never waited longer than 5 minutes.

Customer service was top notch, very friendly staff. Special thanks to Ember who helped to change our room nearer to the lift as our elderly folks are not able to walk far. Breakfast was superb, lots of variety. Bed was comfy, we had lovely snooze. They even have a kids club where your kids can spend some time playing in there - a rare feature even among 5 stars hotel nowadays. Swimming pool is shaded by the hotel building in the morning so we could swim till noon and don't even feel any heat from the sun, but the opposite happens during the evening where the sun is fully blazing down on the pool. We went during the weekdays so there were less people but during weekends, you could barely swim around. Now on the not-so-good things - the car park is all stairs, no ramp, totally not friendly to the elderly and had to carry my luggage through the stairs. And you still need to pay RM 3 per day for it!! The hotel is across the road from the beach so you have to walk across a bridge and a deep long stairs down to get to the beach and it is quite dangerous, esp for kids and elderly people. All in all, we enjoyed our time there but there are many better hotels around Batu Ferringi.

A very enjoyable experience with some of the best decor of any boutique hotel, not just in Asia. The staff went out of their way to make our stay pleasant and make us feel special. The hotel lacks decent gym facilities and the pool needs a mid-height front privacy wall to separate it from the street, but otherwise, it is fabulous. The food is good to very good and the international wine list is broad and well balanced in price and variety. And, the first drink on the house each evening helps settle you in for the evening after a hard day's trekking around Georgetown. Much to be liked. Recommended vs any cookie-cutter hotel for the same price.

When choosing, I was worried about the smell of the newly opened hotel. I was entangled for a long time, but I liked it very much after moving in. I like the design of the hotel very much. It has a Nanyang style, and the staff's clothes are also in line with the overall design. The service staff are very nice. The welcome drink given when the early flight arrived was very refreshing. I can check in at 12:00. The front desk guy said that it was opened the day before I stayed there, and I was the first guest of the day. The room design is worthy of being a new hotel. It is very reasonable, and there is an independent cloakroom and dressing table. The bathtub and the sea view facing the living room are very pleasant. It is a handheld ironing machine, no longer a bulky iron. I like it very much! I was very entangled before deciding whether to stay at the Dongjia Hotel or the Autograph. After going out and passing by the Dongjia Hotel, I felt that my choice was very wise! Because it is really noisy at night, it is very quiet compared to the Autograph! I was also surprised to receive the hotel's turndown gift when I came back at night. The disadvantage is that it has just opened, and there is still a little smell. It is estimated that it will be fine after a while. Then the smoke sensor above the bed flickered, which might affect those who have trouble sleeping. I also reported it to the lady at the front desk and I think it will be resolved.

Reception staff was friendly. We were able to check in early around 10.45am as the Deluxe Suite we booked for 4N was available. Requested late check out was also approved at 12 noon as our flight was late afternoon. View from the top was beautiful & the skybar level was accessible after 6.30pm. There was conplimentary shuttle bus for famous breakfast areas at 8.30am, 9.15am & 10am. We managed to prebook 2 slots for 1 day only to Chowrasta Market. The next day 8.30am time slot was full (12 seats only) so we took Grab instead. Not expensive at RM8 to Kimberly Street. Pillow selection-1 per guest is a nice touch. Had the memory foam pillow for a good night sleep. Some free local snacks from the hotel was a nice gesture. Location of fairly new hotel (year 2022) is excellent. 2 supermarkets nearby (Gama) - the side walk with pretty bougainvilleas is pleasant, Pacific Hypermart at Komtar. Nearby got Japanese restaurant along Magazine Road & also massage places too. Overall, a very enjoyable stay at the hotel. Only negative is noise from traffic so room facing is impt for light sleepers

Very clean and comfortable room. The location is good with parking. They also allows pets with a charge. We and our dogs enjoy our stay here. The breakfast is delicious and the pool is good. The front office staff are friendly and helpful, especially Edric. The only bad thing is the wifi which kept logging off if not used for few minutes. We will be back here!

My first trip to Penang after more than 10 years and staying at Cititel was a great choice. The hotel lobby is nice, big and smells good. Front desk officers, the porters, the staff at the restaurant, the male and female masseuse (my husband and I had a syok foot and shoulder massage) at the City Spa and even the aunty at the hotel's convenient shop were very friendly, helpful and pleasant! The breakfast spread was also great! The location of the hotel was within walking distance to good makan places and convenient shops! The room is big enough with a comfortable king bed and pillows. The seaview was awesome. The only downside is the soundproofing of the room. I heard weird noises late at night.
