We were here for just 2 night's, the team were really welcoming and helpful with local recommendations, the room was large, well presented and clean, there is plenty of parking, and a bonus that the town center is only a 5 minute walk away and the entrance to the Bay is right across the road. This is my go to place to stay when visiting Timaru.

Booked an overnight stay after 7 hours driving , very tired luckily only 1 night. right on highway you could hear trucks and cars all night long. Not recommend this place if you want any sleep, also it states harbour view you can see cranes and a small glimpse of water

The name is misleading. There is no view although the harbour is nearby. The rooms are very good, clean and warm with good kitchen facilities. There are ample take aways and restaurants within a 5 -10 minute walk. It’s a bit noisy with traffic as it’s on a busy road. Handy for a stopover but would not suggest it as a base.

For a motel - great can’t fault it. Easy location, well priced. Seems to be the best accomodation in timaru. Only downfall is we had pre paid but were asked to pay again due to new owners not having proper documentation of payment. We ended up having to spend time showing our end of payment etc so they wouldn’t charge us twice. Would stay here again :)

We received a very warm welcome at check in and enjoyed our stay in a spacious room. Good cooking facilities, comfortable bed and good size bathroom. Located a short distance from the main shops, bars and restaurants this motel is well placed. We felt we received very good service and that we enjoyed value for money. We have no hesitation in recommending this motel to fellow travelers.

This is the best motel we have stayed in for ages. Although on a main road its very quiet and just a few steps away to Caroline Bay. The presentation is superb with heat pump, electric blankets, large bathroom, very comfy bed , couch and superb cleanliness. Very well furnished. We wouldnt hesitate to stay here again.
