It was the first time I stayed at a mountain villa since high school, when I spent five or six nights in total. I think the times have changed and it has become more sophisticated. Given the location of this hotel, we expected nothing more than basic standard of service. But it turned out to be a very pleasant stay, one of the best in our trip. Although room looks a bit dated but it is very clean, with well-stocked amenities. Staff are very all friendly, helpful and speak good English. Dinner and breakfast were fantastic, with rich selection. We could really feel the level of service dedication. The autumn leaves were all gone by the time we got there but the scenery was no less fantastic. The colors of green and yellow on the plain are equally beautiful. Make sure you book a room facing the highland cos it is where you can view the sea of cloud, the city of Toyama and the starry sky right from your window.
