Hotel location and room quality were very good. The breakfast was rich with choices, but number of coffee machines were not enough. There were long queues in front of the only two machines. However, they brewed good coffee from seeds. We enjoyed the beautiful voice and songs of the lady at the piano bar in the evenings, but very interestingly the hotel does not have a bar or cafeteria with a sea view. We had to go out to cafeterias nearby to have a cup of coffee with a sea view after a work day. Also they lacked proper stock of alcohol-free beer. It was only available 3 out of 7 nights we stayed and was extremely expensive. I also think the hotel is a bit on the expensive side compared to what it offers. We would stay there again if we get a better deal than this time. Otherwise we will try another hotel. Staff was generally nice and helpful with a smile.

It was a Quick stay but we actually enjoyed it. Cozy hotel with a kind staff ( especially Abdelrahim). The highlight of our stay was definitely the stunning view we had from the breakfast area. While the hotel provided breakfast, we would have appreciated a wider variety of choices. However, the quality of the food was correct. I recommend this hotel for its attentive staff, and, most importantly, the stunning view from 3rd floor.

Service / location / reception at the top as well as the very clean and maintained swimming pool. Disappointing on the furniture and the cleanliness of the standard / classic rooms. So I changed rooms by going to the premium ones, the rooms are more spacious, pretty and clean.

The room is large and quiet, with a beautiful view outside the window. It is close to the beach and the train station. The hotel service is very good, and the staff often ask if you are satisfied. The breakfast is rich and more suitable for Chinese tastes than Western food.

Sorry to say that we do not believe the hotel is up to its 5 star standard. It is a good hotel and the hotel does take care to look after it and make it enjoyable for people staying but if you are expecting 5 star quality it will let you down. In the room, inside the kettle, the coffee cup and the spoon were dirty (these hadn’t had a clean before us arriving), there was an awful sewage smell coming from the drain in the shower so bad that if we didn’t shut the bathroom door ah all times our room smelt revolting (this was room 336) I don’t know if it’s a general thing or just unlucky with the room. It felt like at times staff would favour people who have stayed at the hotel before (regulars) or people who had been staying there for a few days rather than welcoming new people. Finally, to top off our stay here, 5am we needed to leave for the airport, we asked the reception if he would kindly just call us a taxi, he told us this would be a charge of 250 DHR (we already knew this should have been no more than 150), we said no thank you walked into the street and got a taxi for 100 DHR. Very bad

There is a Hilton Hotel very close by, and the beach is also within walking distance. The location is good and the breakfast is quite rich. I would like to check it out next time I come. I highly recommend it. There are many hotels to choose from along the beach.

The hotel restaurant serves delicious meals, and the room service was fast and efficient. Facilities: The hotel facilities are excellent. The pool and gym are well maintained and provide a great way to relax. The hotel also has meeting rooms and a business center, making it ideal for business meetings. Conclusion: I highly recommend the Barcelo Hotel Tangier to anyone looking for a comfortable and luxurious stay in Tangier. Going at the end of March, the hotel is located in the mountainous area on the outskirts of Tangier, Morocco, and the scenery is relatively good. But because it is Ramadan, there are not many basic guests, and the swimming pool is under maintenance. The buffet for $50 per person is relatively low cost, the food is not much and it is not added, the customer service staff basically does not understand English, and the communication is relatively difficult. Breakfast ordered a 200ml cup of orange juice, charged $12, a bit outrageous, of course, the room facilities reached the five-star standard. After leaving the hotel, I found that I had overcharged an inexplicable $250 and had asked the bank for a refund. The overall service level can be at the star level of 2-3. Not recommended, the price is too low.
