Taipei Zhongzheng District 4-star Hotels

Hotel was recommended by an acquaintance. Location was very good with easy access to MRT Beimen station and Taipei main station on walking distance. Check-in went very smoothly but the hallway was too dark so it was difficult to find/read my room number! Except that the room was good with sufficient space and nice bed/bath and most importantly, no noise could be heard from other rooms. Breakfast was nothing spectacular but no complaints either.

I love the self check in because it is very convenient. Plus you can store your luggage with lock if you came in early. There are assistants too near the self-check in. I will choose here again if i came back to taiwan.

You’re surrounded by shops, restaurants, and entertainment, so it's ideal if you want to be in the middle of the action. #### Room: We stayed in the **Superior Family Room**, which was spacious and comfortable for our family of four. The room had a modern design, with comfortable beds, a TV, a mini-fridge, and a desk. The bathroom was a bit tight, but it worked well for our needs. The shower had good water pressure, and everything was clean and in good condition. #### Service: The service was friendly and helpful. The staff at the front desk were always ready to assist with recommendations for local attractions and were prompt in fulfilling our requests for extra towels and pillows. #### Amenities: The **breakfast** was okay, but not impressive. The buffet had a basic selection of both Western and ********* breakfast items, but it became repetitive, and the quality could have been better. It was just enough to get by, but nothing memorable. One issue that affected our stay was the **noise in the lobby at night**. It often felt like a social hangout spot, with a large group of people drinking beer and playing games. It wasn't always clear if all of them were hotel guests, and the noise was quite disruptive, especially for anyone trying to relax or sleep. If you're sensitive to noise, this might be a problem, as the lobby area gets pretty lively late into the night. #### Overall Experience: While **Just Sleep Hotel Ximending** offers great value for its central location and the rooms are generally comfortable, the noise from the lobby and the underwhelming breakfast left a bit of a negative impression. Based on this experience, **I probably wouldn't stay here again**. I would likely choose a hotel that's even closer to Ximending, with quieter surroundings and a better breakfast. Would I recommend it? If you're looking for a budget-friendly hotel in Ximending and don't mind some noise in the evenings, it could work for you. But for a more peaceful stay, I’d recommend looking at other options.

Love this hotel ! The staffs have very good service quality . They are friendly and helpful ! I stayed in 107, ground floor and face the road. Surprisingly is so quiet, hardly any traffic noises. The morning sunlight shine to room and make this pace bright and warm. Very clean, well laid out space, for 2 just enough. The bed is at the hard side but ok for me, the pillow abit soft, so for those that need proper support may need more pillows ( they have provided 2 ).

Great Hotel, staff was responsive and helpful, very modern and clean. Only thing to improve is breakfast as they don't have a restaurant and cooperate with the starbucks that is attached.

Perfect for travelers looking to maximize their time in Taipei. Cleanliness: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The rooms and common areas are spotless and well-maintained, creating a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. Service: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The staff were friendly, professional, and attentive throughout my stay. They went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed. Facilities: ⭐⭐⭐ While the basics are well-covered, the hotel lacks certain amenities like a dehumidifier and gym. These could significantly enhance the overall guest experience, especially in Taipei's humid climate. Overall, Cozzi Zhongxiao Taipei excels in key areas but has room for improvement in its facilities. I would recommend it for its convenience and exceptional service, but those looking for more extensive amenities might want to consider other options.

Simple no frills room - awesome location, good service and super clean They would not provide any toothbrush and other disposable items from 2025 There is washing machine and dryer available for all hotel guest. I arranged for my luggage to be kept at the hotel while I took a small bag to go to beitou

The hotel is within walking distance from Ximending. About 10 to 15 min walk away. We had packet breakfast as we booked some tours. Overall we enjoyed our stay. Staff helped us get a cab to our next destination.

A mix of positives and areas for improvement. The hotel is well-located, making it a convenient base for my activities. Cleanliness and functionality were evident, with my room being notably spacious and well-equipped for a comfortable stay. However, the room’s decor was somewhat dreary and outdated, which detracted from the overall ambience. On a positive note, the bed was extremely comfortable, ensuring a good night’s sleep without any disturbances. The staff were generally friendly and accommodating, which added to the pleasantness of my stay. Unfortunately, there was an exception during breakfast times. A particular man displayed a noticeable lack of interest in guest welfare. On two occasions, he saw me struggling to open the terrace door and did not offer to help, even walking past me once when I was clearly in need of assistance with my hands full. This behavior suggested a disregard for guest service. On a lighter note, the hotel features a charming micro-garden at the back, which was a delightful place to relax. In summary, while the hotel does not necessarily inspire a “wow” factor, it maintains the essentials for a practical and generally comfortable business stay.

Very convenient location close to Taipei main station and Ximen area- we stayed several times for short stopovers in Taipei - also easy to reach from Taoyuan Airport with the AirPort Express. Get the easy card for public transport - it’s more widely accepted than 7eleven iCash and remeining balance can be refunded at the end of your trip at the airport
