When checking in, applicants hold their passport over the machine to complete the process. The display is in Japanese. The machine dispenses a breakfast ticket for two people, which is like a receipt. The room is cleaned in a circular manner, but there is dust accumulating in the corners. The TV remote control is also dirty with food sauce. BS and NHK do not work. The view from the window is such that if you open the curtains, you will make eye contact with your neighbors. There is only one blackout curtain, so when you close it, the room is pitch black. I wish there was at least a thin white curtain to let in light. You cannot flush toilet paper. There is a 24-hour breakfast shop nearby about a 3-minute walk away, so you don't need to order breakfast. When you go to the breakfast venue, there is no one there, so there is no check for breakfast tickets. It feels like a basic ********* hotel breakfast. The raw vegetable corn🌽 was stringy when I scooped it up with a spoon, so I thought it was dangerous and stopped eating it. You should be careful with the black beans and corn in the salad. I passed the front desk many times when I went out, but the front desk staff just looked down and completely ignored me. I wish they would at least make eye contact with me. I felt lonely all five days. It might be good for people who don't want to communicate. It's about five minutes from the subway, and there are general stores, convenience stores, breakfast shops, and a night market nearby, so it's in a great location. It's good for people who are used to Taiwan and want to stay somewhere cheap and convenient. It's a lonely hotel for people who want the kind hospitality of ********* people. Rooms are cleaned every day and bottled water is provided.

Service quality is great! The room is clean and comfortable, the service staff is enthusiastic, the staff service is excellent, the communication is barrier-free, the hot water in the room is stable and will not be hot and cold, and the transportation is convenient nearby.

Excellent location with many convenience stores around. Located near Zhongshan Elementary school MRT which is accessible to many great spots in Taipei such as Taipei mall, Ximending walking street and Shilin night market in 6 stops or less via MRT. Toilets are clean and well maintained, equipped with washing machine and dryer for your clothes for 50TWD. The staff are very responsive as well and friendly. Would like to give a special mention to Ricky for being super friendly and making guests feel welcomed.

The price is very good. We only pay US$74( including buffet per room). The front desk staff is very friendly, easy-going and fluent in English. The room is spacious and the bedding is ok for the price. The only downside is that it takes a long walk from the hotel to the nearest subway station (Minquan Road Station (Minquan Rd. Station))). Other comments said that the hotel is close to the train station, in fact, it is not, it takes a long time to walk. But there is no complaint because there are many shops and shopping along the way. Airbus bus stop to and from Taiwan International Airport (Taiwan's International Airport), is only a minute walk from the hotel.

I was looking for a hotel suite on election night in Taiwan. I called many five-star hotels and got very indifferent service. Among them, Grand Hyatt even hung up my phone (maybe accidentally). Finally, I called Yadu Lizhi, and their phone service made people feel warm and trustworthy. After entering the stay, the service from check in to room service was very satisfactory, and they took the initiative to provide more free bottled water for my three children. Although the decoration of the room and restaurant is no longer novel and a bit old-fashioned, the quality is very good, and even the softness of the pillow is satisfactory. The atmosphere of the restaurant is very good, the music is very particular, although the buffet breakfast is not much, it still makes us have a pleasant Sunday morning. The only thing that is crippling is the air conditioner. I adjusted it a few times and I still feel bored. After all, it is a bit old hotel. But because the price is reasonable, I have no complaints.

Very near shuangcheng street night market and the mrt. Right beside the hotel is a supermarket of sorts which has everything you need from snacks to alcohol to shower products, and laundromat right opposite. Only gripe is that our soap was not refilled during cleanings and we actually ran out of body wash on the last day, and the gym was rather small.

The room was really typical for a Japanese hotel. Tiny but cosy, minimal space but got everything you need. Toilet has bidet system so that’s neat. Helpful reception enabled us to save loads on taxi fare, pointed us in right direction to nearest night market for good local food. Lots of cafes near the hotel that I should have checked out too

Location was the better one with cheaper pricing. About 5 or 10mins walk from hotel to shuanglian. Reach the hotel, there was no one attending at the counter and was a self checkin machine. Easy checkin and you get the room card. Room was clean and tidy. Room size acceptable, can place 3 of my luggages. Big bath room, just that the water temp was either too hot or too cold. Have to toggle between the 2 shower heads. Initially i planned to deposit my luggage on the last day as i had a late flight that day. But there was no one attending to the counter. Theres a number to add in line app, so i chatted with the person. Was asked to place the luggage behind the counter at my own risk. Which i dont really like this idea. Should have stated in the website in the first place. I still left my luggage there for about 3 hrs, nothing was missing but initially i planned to pickup much later. But since no one was attending to my luggages i went back to collect early. Side note, this hotel is also open for short term stay for people to wish to 'stay' for a few hours. Overall, still clean and acceptable price. Other than, the luggage deposit portion.

We are family of 5 pax, we stayed in a triple room and a twin room. Unfortunately these 2 room types cannot be on the same floor. The hotel signage is barely visible and only written in Chinese, so try your best to locate it! The hotel front desk is on level 4 where you have to enter through an old building lobby. Once you find it, you get used to it. The location of this hotel is excellent though. 2 mins walk to Shuanglian train station on the red line and 10 minutes walk to Zhongshan with 2 huge shopping malls. Rooms are new, modern and very clean!

I’ve been wanting to stay at this hotel for a long time and I finally had the chance during my trip to Taiwan. The hotel is convenient located near the Taipei Main Station and bus station and the MRT station. Hence is extremely convenient to get around. The room I got was quite spacious and clean. I believe it has been refurbished as the interior looks new. It is equipped with a smart tv so I could stream videos on YouTube all day long. The only disappoin**ent was that I did not get the room with the view of the Taipei Main station. The hotel staff were very friendly too. Amenities wise, there is no shortage of f&b establishments located near the hotel and most of them are very good. This hotel is one of the more affordable 5 star hotels in this area. Hence it’s a no brainer to pick this hotel over the rest. Overall, I’ve had a pleasant stay here I will definitely return to this hotel for my future trips.
