Hotels Near NTU Museum of Medical Humanities in Taipei

This was my first trip to Taipei, and the Hotel Resonance was a great location, centrally located, easy access to the metro or pickup by Uber. The accommodations are comfortable and all the light and window covering controls easy to manage; some hotels you need an engineering degree to operate. I did have some issues with managing the television controls from the cellphone app but I really didn’t spend much time in the room. When I left, a small item was left behind but housekeeping found it and it is being sent to me. Housekeeping, unsung heroes of harried travelers.

The Inn Cube at Taipei Main Station is best for a short few nights stay I'd say because the location is perfect very central to the big streets of Taipei. However the room is very small and thus not good if you have a lot of luggage. The bed was clean and had a TV and several plug sockets but the bathrooms felt a bit dirty. I would stay there again however not when coming in from the airport with a lot of luggage.

客室の壁が薄いのか遮音性が大変悪く、隣室の宿泊客達が深夜になっても騒いでいたため、就寝することが出来なかった。 フロントに事情を話したところ、隣室に注意をしてくれて収まったが、せっかくの短い旅程で何とも嫌な思いをした。 客室は綺麗であったが、部屋のセーフティボックスは壊れており、エアコンも調整が効かず、また、冷蔵庫からは異臭がしていた。 なお、ルームクリーニングを夕刻の遅い時間に実施するとは、世界中を旅しているが初めての経験であった。 スタッフの対応は良く、台北駅と西門町から徒歩圏のため便利であるが、残念ながら再び宿泊することは無い。 The walls of the guest room were thin and the sound insulation was very poor. When I told the front desk about the situation, he warned me about the next room and settled down, but I felt bad about the short itinerary. The room was clean, but the safety box in the room was broken, the air conditioner didn't work, and the refrigerator smelled bad. By the way, it was that first experience to have the room cleaned in the evening, even though I Was traveled all over the world. The staff are friendly and then location is very convenient, because it is within walking distance from Taipei Main Station and Ximending, but unfortunately I will not stay there again. 客房的墙壁很薄，隔音效果很差。 跟前台说了情况，他们就提醒我隔壁房间就安顿下来了，不过行程短了感觉不好。 房间很干净，但是房间里的保险箱坏了，空调坏了，冰箱有异味。 此外，这是我第一次在深夜打扫房间，尽管我已经走遍了世界各地。 工作人员非常友好，很方便，因为它距离台北车站和西门町都在步行范围内，但遗憾的是我不会再住在那里。

Bed is very wobbly. You can feel the movement of your partner in bed. Some rooms have it worse. We could not sleep for hours the first night. Around 4AM, we were fed up and asked for help from the frontdesk. When complaining, the staff would not help at all. They did not believe us and dismissed the problems. We had to angrily convince them to even take a look. After looking, they finally gave in and said we were right. We got another room, but we could not let our sleeping 2 year old sleep in the old room while I moved to the new room to get a couple hours of sleep. The staff made us move all our luggage and the sleeping child to the new room, even if nobody was staying in the used room. The cleaning would be the next day anyway. Very poor service and 0 logic was used. Unfortunate, because the rest was great.

The hotel is located near Taipei Main Station. The location is quite ideal. I had to catch the Taoyuan Express in the morning, so I chose it. I was not disappointed. It is very close to the entrance of the Express, and there are convenience stores, restaurants, and restaurants nearby. Quite a few, it can cover almost all the needs in life. The room I stayed in this time was very tidy and had a lot of space. The bedding and supplies were very comfortable and well-prepared. The front desk staff was also very enthusiastic. The experience this time was full marks. I will stay again if I have the opportunity.

The hotel staff were very assuring when we contacted them to notify them of our arrival delay due to bad weather hampering our itinerary during the day. The concierge displayed a warm and friendly attitude as Mr. Eric Gao recommended us all the good eats around the hotel and beyond, demonstrating his local knowledge of the area and also his passion for good food. Hygiene and cleanliness are definitely one of the best, not losing out to those 5-star hotels. Bed and pillows are comfortable, and their TV channels are extensive. Whenever we went out or come back from the hotel, the concierge is always there to greet and ready to serve us, and I have to give many kudos in CityInn's hospitality area, which I felt the other hotels, including those 5-star hotels, are lacking these days. On the day of our check-out, I was surprised with a gift and a birthday card from the concierge (the following day was my birthday). I was moved by their actions and their attention to detail. They reminded me of the hospitality I had received while in Japan and CityInn is definitely top-notch. CityInn made our Taiwan trip, one of the memorable highlights in our excursion and even back at home, we told our friends and family of CityInn of the wow factor that CityInn has displayed. We are going to stay there again in our November Taiwan trip without a single doubt.

Location is near Taipei main station however it is very complicated to walk to the hotel using the underground mall. Preferably to walk on above ground. The hotel is quite dimly lit. My spouse does not feel comfortable staying there as she feel quite spooky. However the hotel is going green. Therefore many things are not provided.

Fun Inn Taipei is located near the Ximending Shopping District. It is close to everything, most especially the Ximending night market and MRT stations. Overall, our stay has been great. The staff were very accommodating too. This place is highly recommended. Thank you very much!

Located within minutes from Ximending and the Taipei metro, so it was the perfect location for me. I had the deluxe room which was spacious, with lots of room space to move around and there was a mini fridge, open wardrobe where I could hang my clothes and a counter top on the side with 2 chairs. The shower and toilet was also spacious with a kinda bathtub. Shower gel and shampoo in dispenser were also available. Toothrbrush, shaver, comb and shower cap were all available during check in if required and bathroom slippers were also available in the room. Little things that made everything complete. At the concierge, there were snacks that were free of charge for guests and a water dispenser that serves sparkling water which was so cool! The room will be cleaned upon request and when I asked why, they said cos some guests want their privacy and do not wanna be disturbed so they will only clean the room upon request. Luckily I am quite a tidy person and didn’t eat in my room so my room was generally clean and didn’t really need any cleaning during my stay. Towels were sufficient and I only needed more tissue and mineral water during my stay and was given to me upon my request. If anything is needed, the concierge is also available 24 hours which ensured peace of mind for every guest. But most of all, it was the staff that made my stay fun and memorable. They were extremely friendly and approachable. I love the family/friends feel whenever I was in their space. They were also extremely helpful when I asked about where I could get great local food and they would even Google and show me exactly what they were recommending and made sure I will get to the desired destination. Overall, this is a great hotel that I would highly recommend for anyone when travelling to Taipei Taiwan.

The hotel is situated in an incredibly convenient location, just a stone's throw away from the vibrant Ximending Night Market! This bustling area is known for its lively atmosphere, street food, and shopping, making it a perfect spot for both tourists and locals alike. Additionally, there are several convenience stores located in close proximity to the hotel, which is incredibly handy for picking up snacks, drinks, or any essentials you might need during your stay. When it comes to breakfast, I found that the offerings were quite repetitive, with the same items served each day. If you're someone who enjoys variety in your morning meals, you might want to consider skipping the buffet altogether and exploring some of the local breakfast options available nearby. There are plenty of cafes and eateries in the area that can provide a more diverse and enjoyable dining experience. On another note, I did have some interactions with the staff at Takao Restaurant, and I must say that they weren't particularly warm or welcoming. The service felt a bit lacking, especially from an older lady who seemed to create quite a scene when handling the plates. This could detract from the overall dining experience, so it might be worth considering other dining options if you're looking for a more pleasant atmosphere.
