Hotels in Ximending Commercial Area, Taipei

I must say, it was a delightful experience from start to finish. The hotel is located in a convenient location, just a short walk from public transportation options. Upon arrival, the staff at the front desk were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and they efficiently checked me in and provided me with all the information I needed about the hotel's amenities and the surrounding area. Overall, I was thoroughly impressed would highly recommend it to anyone. The combination of its prime location, beautiful historic ambiance, and excellent customer service make it a true gem in the city

Perfect location. Room is comfortable enough for a short stay in Taipei. It is near convenience stores, cafes, restaurants and about 2 to 3 minutes away from Ximending. It offers buffet breakfast too which offer a wide variety of food options (I like that they offer hot pot during breakfast) my only recommendation is maybe they should give their staff additional training in customer service as they do not greet you when go in or outside of the hotel.

Was on a tight budget on accommodation but at the same time required private space, this hotel is your pick! Friendly receptionist upon check in, luckily my room was ready at 12pm Room: Clean, altho I got some bed bug bites, I picked room with window but it's a shame that my window was quite small compared to the other rooms (I happened to pass by those unoccupied rooms with windows) Washroom: 4 shower rooms, I was afraid that I'll need to line up for the shower but nah, no queue needed, it's more than enough Washing machine: located on the 7th floor, also no queue needed, can get detergent ball & exchange coins with receptionist, wash was 1 hour, dry for 30mins Metro: I use the K12 exit with escalator Noise: yup, the noise was loud & so close, especially from the opening & closing of the door, and from house keeping, if you're a light sleeper you'll definitely need earplugs

Caesar Metro is located right next to Wanhua train station, one stop away from Taipei station which is linked to Taipei Main and the metro network. It’s also only two stops away from one of the largest night markets in Taipei, Raohe, at Songshan station. The rooms were large and comfortable with interesting city views on the higher floors. We booked a triple sharing room and were pleased that the bath, toilet and sink/vanity top were separate so each person could access the different room amenities at the same time. Service was excellent. From the concierge to the breakfast buffet crew and housekeeping. The staff were courteous, efficient and quick to help. All in, we’d a great stay there.

Please, read carefully about amenities that are and aren’t provided (like towels-not provided, slippers-same). I stayed in a room with 8 capsules, which came with “our” 2 shower and 2 toilets, hairdryer and a small cabinet/locker for each of us. There was a space to “park” your larger luggage. Safe in my capsule didn’t really work. Nevertheless, I felt quite safe and happened to have cool capsule-mates. The common spaces, same as the room, were clean, neat and provided tons of sockets (be sure to bring adapter). The personnel was nice, practical, instructive; WiFi strong. Metro (Ximen: Blue & Green lines) under 10 min, same as Ximen Walking District. Ideal for a short stay.

From the moment I arrived, the service was impeccable. The staff was warm, professional, and genuinely attentive—checking in was seamless. The room itself was beautifully designed, combining comfort with modern elegance. The bed was incredibly comfortable, with high-quality linens and pillows that made for a restful night’s sleep. I appreciated the thoughtful amenities provided, including a well-stocked minibar, premium toiletries. The quality of the food—the breakfast buffet, in particular, offered a wide variety of both Western and local options, all fresh and delicious. Overall, this was a thoroughly enjoyable and relaxing stay.

The location is very convenient, it's in the heart of Ximenting Area, everything is accessible. Lots of shops and restaurants around the vicinity and a few meters away from Ximen Metro Station. The rooms are clean and well-maintained.

The best thing about Ximen Hotel is the location. It’s a few minutes away from breakfast spots, Ximending, and Ximen Station. It’s easy to spot and near a cute Hello Kitty 7/11 and a Family Mart. The room for 2 persons was a bit smaller than I expected, and not all rooms have a street view, but it’s alright. Rooms are cleaned on the daily, fresh towels are brought in, and you can request to have your bedsheets changed as well. The room has a mini-fridge, a table, a bedside table, a bathtub with a shower (has a heater!). There are no bidets though. And rooms might be full so chances of early check in are low.

We had a pleasant stay in Airline Inn Taipei Ximen. It is conveniently located just a few steps from exit 2 of Ximen Station. The staff who assisted us during our check-in was nice and helpful. They let us keep our luggage before check-in and after check-out. The room was clean and seems newly renovated. We booked Double Deluxe Room, it was spacious enough for a couple and got the view of the Ximending Night Market side. The bathroom has a decent size as well, with Japanese-tech toilet and hot/cold shower. The toiletries smelled nice and there was hair dryer. However, single-use amenities like toothbrush, cotton buds, etc. were no longer provided due to government’s sustainability efforts. There was a safe in the room, mini fridge and they replenish the bottled water in your room upon request. The air-conditioning was also good. Oh, and it was raining in Taiwan when we visited and they provide umbrellas for guests to use. Although we had an overall nice stay, not all people may like it. The building looks old outside and the elevators leading to the rooms are outside the lobby/reception and surrounded by different shops. We were assigned in 4th floor, and there was a small stair going to our room which we find inconvenient. It would also be nicer if they can add a couple of pillows for a more comfortable sleep. Overall, we find Airline Inn Taipei Ximen a great value for money. Affordable and budget-friendly, but doesn’t compromise comfort and convenience.

Smooth check in but they do not offer early check in. Safe hotel you even need key card to access the floors so plus 1 for safety. Have an elevator right outside the hotel that connects to MRT so you will have no problem carrying your luggage. They provide coupon for breakfast so if you did not use it for the day you can use the coupon for additional person on the next days. They have lots of offering for breakfast, cake, fruits, cereal, even hot chocolate! I wish they can offer soup tho. They even have weighing scale in the reception area for your luggages. Will definitely recommend this hotel and if I go back to Taipei, I will use this hotel again. Also, one of the Hello Kitty themes 7-eleven is right below this hotel.
