Pros: - Great location, just a 5-10 minute walk to 西門町 (Ximending) and 台北車站 (Taipei Main Station). - 24-hour Family Mart and 7-11 within a 5-minute walk. - Rare double bed hostel for budget travelers. - Large common area with a kitchen in the basement. Cons: - No hygiene products provided due to Taiwan's policy. - Poor air circulation in the bed space. - Private bathroom inside but cannot be used for bathing after 11 PM. Only one public bathroom shared with the entire floor, which may lead to frustratingly long waits. - Noise from people moving around. - Mattress is raised in the center, making it uncomfortable.

This hotel offers the cheapest price for a solo tourist who likes to stay in a single room as always. Besides, the location is super convenient. It's right next to the taipei station. Toilet and shower are shared with other guests, but they are very clean. I will stay here next time when I visit Taipei. Thanks a lot

It's actually good and pretty much cheaper for a group of friends travelling together. Having a common area for the toilet and bath is okay, since it's being cleaned everyday, plus it gives us a lot of time travel compared to our other group of Friends booked with a nearby hotel with only 1 toilet and bathroom. FEEDBACK: It'll be better if they have a microwave and a fridge at their pantry area to at least help guests heat up something for snack specially during midnight

Really pleasant stay, I enjoyed most of my time with this place, the bed was clean, and the people were friendly and the food wasn't bad either, overall very good Time, thank you 😀

I can’t upload the video I took upon check in, so I just screenshot them. The room was as the photos you see upon booking, it is clean and enough space. Lots of power outlet. I arrived at 3am and the self check in is hassle free since I got the instructions emailed to me. There were lots of food choices outside even in wee hours, that’s a plus for me.

MY Honest Review of My Stay at Sleep Box Hotel My recent stay at the Sleep Box Hotel left me with a few concerns, particularly for solo backpackers like myself. Here's what I experienced: The capsule accommodation offered little to no privacy. If you're looking for a space where you can relax and unwind in peace, this may not meet your expectations. I found the capsule to be uncomfortable. It was hot inside, and there were no free towels provided, which I believe is a basic necessity fior any traveller. Additionally, the absence of entertainment amenities, such as a television or other forms of distraction, made the experience less enjoyable. On top of that, noise was strictly prohibited, which made it even more uncomfortable for those who wish to interact or enjoy a social environment. The biggest disappointment was the state of the facilities, which I found to be dirty and poorly maintained. The overall atmosphere did not match the level of cleanliness and comfort I had hoped for. Tips for Backpackers: If you are a backpacker looking for budget-friendly accommodation, I would advise you to reconsider your expectations before booking at Sleep Box Hotel. The price might be tempting, but it's crucial to weigh what you're getting in return. Ensure you bring your own towel and be prepared for the heat inside the capsule. Additionally, if you value privacy and cleanliness, you might want to explore other options that offer more comfort and better amenities. To attract more tourists, it would be beneficial for the hotel to improve their cleanliness standards and offer basic necessities such as towels, fans, or air conditioning inside the capsules. Offering at least some form of entertainment or creating a more social-friendly environment could also elevate the overall experience for backpackers.

Not far from the MRT station, convenient food, except for a little noisy when someone passing by the aisle, in fact, they are very quiet and feel very comfortable. But there is one place where the most dissatisfied 😅 is why the shower head is hung up to 190 cm high. It is still difficult to get it on my feet. The push pipe lets the shower head fall and catch 😓, and it can't hang flushing (too high, can't hang), must be held in your hand 😭.

Cute place with very nice staff. I booked a shared women room, but when I booked, I thought the room only has 4 beds but it turned out to be 8 when I arrived and checked in the room, so it’s not quite spacious for me. They do have lockers big enough to put my carry-on in, but for my bigger suitcase, I had to either leave it in front of my bed or at the hotel luggage space in front of the check-in front desk. The bed is small but I find it spacious enough for me. The room is not noise canceling so you can hear a lot of noises outside. My room has a bathroom and toilet, so I don’t need to use the common one, which I find pretty nice. They also have elevator. The common area is pretty nice to chill out, with some couches and a kitchen and some utensils provided. They also sell noodles and drinks, but tea and coffee are free. The only thing I find a little annoying is the power slot and one single outlet. You have to put the room key inside the slot to turn on the light of your bunk bed, and because you only have one key, it’s kinda annoying to keep take the card key in and out to go out or open the locker so the power cannot be consistent. I cannot charge my tablet and phone continuously. And there’s also one outlet only so it’s quite inconvenient if you want to charge multiple devices at one time. I find myself lucky to have the lower bed because it’s easy to get in. The upper one is a little bit struggling for tall people, so if you think you need bigger space and have easier access to the bed, ask for a lower bed.

Very nice staff and a very big room for taipei with a separate bathroom. You'll need to walk from the 11th to the 12th floor. For a budget hotel very good even with a desk and sofa.

The hotel is opposite Taipei Main Station. You can use the nearest exit, Z2, or the exit with elevators and escalators, Z1/M6. Very convenient. The hotel is easy to find, next to Family Mart. The room has no windows but isn't cramped. It's fairly wide and can sleep two people. comfortably The bed and pillows are soft, sleeping very comfortable, decorated in a loft style, the water flows strong, there is shampoo, soap and a set of toothbrushes, combs, and shower caps provided. There are a lot of power plugs and many different types. The staff speaks English and the front desk is open 24 hours.
