Pros: Great location in central Taipei. The bedding was clean. Price was good. There is a common room with kitchen in the basement. The lockers were good to put your bags away in securely. Check out time of 11.30am was more generous than most places. The water in the showers was a good temperature. Cons: The guy I got on the check in was curt to the point of rudeness. The toilet seat in the male dorm kept falling down, so you could stand peeing trying to hold it up or pee through the hole. Not ideal. Lots of mosquitoes in the basement. There are endless little signs telling you not to do certain things and that “violators” will be fined - this didn’t seem like the fun implied by the name “Fun Inn”. The toilets smelt like pee - quite possibly due to the aforementioned toilet seat issue.

Super convenient location (literally right outside one of the exits of Taipei Main Station). Staff were helpful and cleanliness was acceptable, especially considering the price of one night. For 120 NTD, you could do a round of laundry (washing powder + washing machine usage + dryer usage), and the dryer worked really well so clothes came out fully dry and fresh!

My reason to stay - had to stay one more night to catch a flight from Songshan Airport, but didn't want to spend a lot of $$. Location - It was only 40 mins away from the airport and only cost 25 TWD to the airport. - The location is very good if you are planning to look around Ximen area; it is close to Donkihote, Temple, Art museum, Carrefour etc Amenities - there is a free ear plug. - Loved that they gave fresh towels, shampoo, body wash, and slippers. Room - The room was a bit cold, but the blanket is warm enough to sleep well. - The room was quite at night. You could hear alarm in the morning, but you cannot hear people snoring. You can only hear when you are in the hallway. When you leave the room - you have to return your key and reclaim it when you are back. I found this interesting. Overall - The room is very small, and you can only fit your luggage. However, if you are going to stay for a couple nights or in a tight budget, I would highly recommend staying here.

The hostel is actually nearby the Raohe Night Market so it’s quite convenient in terms of meals. Once you arrived the hostel, they’ll drop you a card to enter your room and there’s a gate on that certain level so it’s quite secure. However, the personal locker is not quite working in our dorm.

Location 101% Right choice to book the single room option, this is a little bit more privacy and good for traveller with big luggage like me. Overall good, will recommend if you want a good price and great location. But do not expect good soundproof in hostel. Definitely will come back again

Here's what I experienced: The capsule accommodation offered little to no privacy. If you're looking for a space where you can relax and unwind in peace, this may not meet your expectations. I found the capsule to be uncomfortable. It was hot inside, and there were no free towels provided, which I believe is a basic necessity fior any traveller. Additionally, the absence of entertainment amenities, such as a television or other forms of distraction, made the experience less enjoyable. On top of that, noise was strictly prohibited, which made it even more uncomfortable for those who wish to interact or enjoy a social environment. The biggest disappointment was the state of the facilities, which I found to be dirty and poorly maintained. The overall atmosphere did not match the level of cleanliness and comfort I had hoped for. Tips for Backpackers: If you are a backpacker looking for budget-friendly accommodation, I would advise you to reconsider your expectations before booking at Sleep Box Hotel. The price might be tempting, but it's crucial to weigh what you're getting in return. Ensure you bring your own towel and be prepared for the heat inside the capsule. Additionally, if you value privacy and cleanliness, you might want to explore other options that offer more comfort and better amenities. To attract more tourists, it would be beneficial for the hotel to improve their cleanliness standards and offer basic necessities such as towels, fans, or air conditioning inside the capsules. Offering at least some form of entertainment or creating a more social-friendly environment could also elevate the overall experience for backpackers.

Not far from the MRT station, convenient food, except for a little noisy when someone passing by the aisle, in fact, they are very quiet and feel very comfortable. But there is one place where the most dissatisfied 😅 is why the shower head is hung up to 190 cm high. It is still difficult to get it on my feet. The push pipe lets the shower head fall and catch 😓, and it can't hang flushing (too high, can't hang), must be held in your hand 😭.

Every time I go to Taipei, more than 90% of them will choose to stay at North Gate Wobo Travel WOW Poshtel . In addition to the proximity to Taipei Station, the transportation is very convenient. In addition to the flat floor or underground street of the station, eating is also very convenient. The price of accommodation is cheap per night. Passengers in either girls' or mixed single beds will respect other passengers and lower the volume after entering the room. The single beds have curtains for proper privacy. The space of the double bed suite (2C room) is small, and there is no place to put it when there is a large suitcase. The bathroom is 75% dry and wet. If you can add a simple shower curtain, the water will not splash on the toilet.

Very nice staff and a very big room for taipei with a separate bathroom. You'll need to walk from the 11th to the 12th floor. For a budget hotel very good even with a desk and sofa.

We stayed 3 nights in a Standard Twin En-Suite while visiting Taipei. The hostel has two parts which are not connected. Our part fortunately has an elevator. The room is clean but very small, sp****, with no window. It was okay since we were out all day and only slept there. The deco in the common area is unique and there are many books and desks in the common area plus a laundry room (only one washer and one dryer though). Breakfast of NTD50 included daily but we mostly had breakfast at eateries across the street. Staff is friendly but hours are very limited although special requests may be made outside of normal hours. The location is great - in walking distance to the central train/metro station. Price is reasonable considering Taipei and the location.
