Clean, cozy and friendly. The building was very antique and historic place of the back in the days. Starbucks is in the ground floor, Carrefour is just across the sidewalk. And Ningxa night market is just 5-10 mins by foot (this is the main reason I choose here) , Taipei station is also close( But you have to take bus or taxi). Staff were all friendly and helpful. Nice experience.

Very good location as it's near Taipei main station where the airport train will stop at and also many other trains available. It's like 10mons walk to main station. Rooms are very clean. There's a bathtub in the shower which not that great for tall people. Also the ceiling is quite low from door way and toilet

Overall, pretty good. Would recommend staying here. The location is quite convenient, with numerous bus stops right outside. There are plenty of options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner nearby, plus a 7-Eleven and FamilyMart downstairs. However, a crucial heads-up: **definitely bring earplugs!** The air conditioning unit is extremely loud, making it impossible to sleep without them. Additionally, the shower curtain in the bathroom was moldy, so be mindful if you plan on using it.

Small but cosy hotel - inside of the room is quite comfortable and big, no problems with electricity and water being good pressure and hot enough through the taps. Would recommend staying here again as its affordable and not too far from everything.

It is an amazing hotel for the price. It is a 10 minutes walk distance from Taipei main station, it has other connecting train stations near as well bus stops, it has an amazing night market at the same street. Staff is kind and you can leave your luggage if you arrive early or leave it there if want to explore more after checkout. It has no breakfast but have water bottles and snacks available all the time. Be aware that the entrance is through an elevator where the gym is advertised, so it is not easily visible. Rooms are as shown in pictures.

had a wonderful experience staying at Palais de Chine Hotel. The breakfast buffet offered a great variety of both Western and Asian options, all fresh and delicious. Location-wise, the hotel is ideally situated with easy access to Taipei Main Station and shopping centers, making it very convenient for both business and leisure travelers. Overall, Palais de Chine offers a refined and relaxing stay in the heart of Taipei. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for comfort, style, and great hospitality.

Amazing customer service from helpful and friendly receptionists. Had a great and comfortable 4 nights there as room was clean and cozy with daily housekeeping. There were also complimentary cup noodles (with a variety of flavors to choose from) and instant soup for guests after 10pm every night! The pantry also has TW snacks, hot/cold water dispenser, coffee machine and nescafé machine which are free for guests too! Location is convenient as well with KFC, Mcdonald, Family Mart and 7-11 just across the street, and it’s only a ＜ 5mins walk to Taipei Main Station MRT! Would definitely return if I’m back in Taipei!

Well trained service and reception. Some clerks speak Japanese so it's very helpful for Japanese. Easy access to hotel. There is a convenience store very nearby. Useful and recommendable for business and sightseeing.

Love the place. Very spacious and located in a quiet neighbourhood. Staff were friendly too and responsive. Night market is ＜10mins walk away so have plenty of food options. Location is quite far from Zhongshan mrt (~15mins walk) but will stay again if price is good.

We lived in a triple room. The room is small but it is cozy and comfortable. The hotel is clean and well-designed. The location is very convenient. My only complaint is that the wash basin is located right in front of the innermost bed without any door, so if anyone goes to the toilet at night, turning on the light will disturb any light sleeper there, as the light will shine brightly in front of them. (Only one switch controls the light in the bathroom, toilet and those above the wash basin.) I suggest some additional dim lights can be installed in the toilet which can be switched on independently from those above the wash basin. Alternatively, coverings like curtains can be installed so that the light can be blocked from shining on the innermost bed. (Note: Different rooms might have different layout.)
