Cosmos Hotel Taipei Reviews

Super conveniently located, directly above Taipei Main Station which gives great access to the Tamsui-Xinyi Line, as well as the Bannan Line. There was also the vast Taipei Underground mall that leads to many locations, like Shin Kong Mitsukoshi Taipei Station, and Breeze Taipei Station, so one is never bored and there are places to go even in inclement weather. As for the hotel itself, let's just say it DEFINITELY has its charms. The décor is quaint and aged, and the room definitely is showing it's age, but the aesthetic was not necessarily a negative. It's just a certain kind of charm that takes awhile 2 appreciate. Age and décor aside, the hotel totally makes it up with it's service. The staff were very attentive, efficient and friendly. From the front desk, concierge, down to the wait staff at the breakfast restaurant, we were treated very warmly. As for the negative, the air-conditioning is actually central and when we checked in, our room aircon was not cold and was rather warm, turns out that the filter was very dirty and not well-maintained, but kudos to the maintenance staff who was quick and efficient in trying to rectify the issue. Throughout our stay though, the aircon still had its ups and downs, but that is what was to be expected from a central aircon system I guess. Overall, very much recommended for its location and service.

Cosmos is literally just beside taipei main station. Food in taiwan is fireeeeee. Just prepare some sunblock as it's insanely hot.

Excellent Location! Friendly staff & was allowed early check-in upon request. Was given complimentary coffee vouchers as well. Room was clean & spacious too! Exceeded my expectations!

Highly recommended Location is great Only very a few mins walk from the central Taipei station. Room is great Well organised furniture and many amenities Food is great The best breakfast I've ever had in Taiwan You can enjoy complimentary 2 drinks at the ground floor. American coffee and a bottle of juice

Hotel was neat and tidy. Very convenient as well. Will come back to stay again.

Hotel room looks very dated and dim, but clean. However the location is superb with underground mall and connectivity is excellent via train and High speed rail. Convenient store is just downstairs.

It appears that even though this hotel is in high demand and centrally located, there are insufficient staff working during breakfast time and the coffee cups are always ran out. Hotel need to improve on these

Strategic location, 2 minutes walking distance to MRT station. Clean and quiet room. A perfect 3 nights stay.

Almost one year ago, i booked Junior Suite and another normal rooms and requested for it to be next to each other for 6days 5nites stay, they did not manage to fulfill the request despite it was with ample notification for that request. Hence, it was not that convenient for my family to interact with each other. Overall the stay was still good.

Very good hotel. Near Taipei main station M3 exit. Hotel abit old, but able to make up due to its convenience. Breakfast was so-so. Not recommended. Got free upgrade to VIP suite room.

The hotel is old and dark … with a musky smell The shower is in the bath tub and the ceiling is quite low …. AC is very noisy

Very old and dated rooms and fittings. Bathroom is very small, with no space to stand properly in front of the sink because the toilet is in the way. Shower and bathtub are combined in a narrow space with no headroom (I’m 180cm tall and the rain shower head brushes my head when standing upright). Gym equipment could also do with a refresh. Free welcome drink was good, and room was clean. Overall still pretty value given the central location.

Good breakfast, clean room. Some reception people can speak Japanese/English, they helped me.
