Hotel is located in a quiet alley of Tianmu district. Not so convenient as the nearest MRT Shipai station is about 30 minutes walk from hotel. There are some bus routes connecting the MRT line and also one to Yangmingshan national park. The nearest bus stop is about 5 minutes away. In view of this, getting around in Taipei is different compared to HK and without Google map it’s almost impossible. The hotel facilities are quite old. Amenities are sufficient and good place for rest, also great to see my room is well equipped with a HK type wall socket saving the need for travel adapter. A very small laundry and gym are on rooftop and need to walk from 6th floor. Service is not bad and staff are responsive, and thanks for their speedy resolving my room doorlock issue. Room rate was reasonably cheap for xmas holidays. Supermarket, restaurants and cafes are also nearby. Overall everything good.

For a 4 star hotel, it was very disappointing. The room was very humid and the bathroom moldy.

Guess it has been badly hit by the Corona Virus.
The famous breakfast, the famous 24 hours coffee have been removed. Very disappointed.
The very important issue is the room small. We have been directed to the second level room , the cigarette smell is so strong that I immediately ask for immediate room change.
Hope they can improve the room cleaning and also improve the renovation which also looked dated. The plus point is that the room rate is reasonable. The location is good too.
Looking forward to bring the breakfast back, and the full day coffee service back.

The hotel was fine. The staff were friendly and helpful. The space is tiny and the sheets were really old. Other than that it’s a good value.

The hotel facilities are relatively dilapidated and have a somewhat unclean feel. For example, the towels are stained and the location is far away from the tourist area, but the staff's service attitude is very good.

The hotel is relatively old and needs to be improved in terms of cleanliness. When the curtains are opened, dust is flying everywhere. The shower and shampoo container exits in the bathroom are full of dirt. If you look carefully at the quilts, pillows and sheets, they have been used for many years and are no longer white. I originally thought it would be better to turn on the air conditioner in the windowless room, but it turned out that the air volume of the air conditioner was very small, somewhere between having it and not having it.
Later, I added 300 yuan to switch to a superior room, but the air conditioner was still very small. Fortunately, there was a window, otherwise it would be really stuffy.
The quilts are thin, so be sure to ask at the counter if you want a thicker one.
The hotel is in an alley, and there are mechanical parking spaces only if the height is below 150cm.
The only saving grace is probably that the bath water is hot.
If you come by car, remember to see if your car can park, otherwise it will be difficult to find a parking space nearby.
No surprise, I won't visit again.
