My overall experience at Cityinn Hotel was quite positive. The hotel’s location is excellent, situated near a major transportation hub, and there are plenty of great food options nearby. The price is very reasonable, and the staff were friendly and provided good service. I also appreciated the complimentary instant noodles and drinks offered in the evening—a nice touch for late-night snacks.
The room was generally clean, though I did notice some small stains on the towels and bedding. The hotel provides a well-known breakfast and souvenir pre-order service, which is delivered the next morning—a unique feature I haven’t seen at other hotels and found very convenient.
However, there were a few downsides. The room was quite small, with the bathroom directly facing the bed, which could be a bit awkward for friends sharing the room. Additionally, the limited space made it difficult to open two suitcases at the same time, which was inconvenient for two people. The soundproofing was also poor—I could easily hear noises from the hallway, and even the music or hair dryer sounds from the neighboring rooms. These were the less enjoyable aspects of my stay.
That said, considering the hotel’s affordable price and prime location, these issues are somewhat understandable. I would still consider staying at Cityinn Hotel on my next trip to Taipei, though I’d opt for a larger room to ensure a more comfortable experience.
